There is a web site called www.boxsoftwares.com that spam text messages my cell phone several times per month. I DO NOT get free text messages and I have no way of blocking the spammer. I have emailed them as they leave an email address as part of the text message. It is: briggs AT efboyd.com. I don't know how they got my cell phone number or why they believe I will purchase from them after they have spammed me. I have a prepaid Westurn Union Debit Master Card. Valuemax took $59.95, $1.00, and $1.00 with out my permission. Saving Smart took $1.00, and $1.00 without my permission. I never heard of them or used thier services. I called them and they told me I would get a subscription for $19.95 a year. I told them No and to put the money back in my Account. They take money from you. When the lady called me, she said I had won a phone. That was a lie and did not know I was being recorded. They are really Scam. I bought a $5 phone card actually I paid $6 According to their list I could make phone call to Tehran for 2C per minute. After I first use I figure out they charged me 12C per minute. Best Buy Online offered a deal of 2 Motorola KRZR K1m white phones with 2 year service agreement with Verizon for $0. However, two days after our order was posted, the order was cancelled by Best Buy because those phones were actually out of stock. I ordered a complete set of "Coach" TV series DVD's for my husband for Christmas. After the holidays we settled in to start watching them and discovered a lot of bad disks. I called them to let them know that we were finding problems. They told me when we finished watching all of them to let them know which disks were bad and they would replace them. Averatec sold me a lightweight laptop with a defective hard drive. When I called Averatec's tech support, I was told to ship the laptop to Averatec's repair facility at my expense. The advertisement said that full refund if unsatisfied with this product. After several tries, the company will not respond to any request. I have 3 unopened bottles of this product and want my money as promised. If they will not, then they should be banned from the internet. In my opinion - yes, they are a scam. Their business practices are, at best, unethical and most often illegal. Every customer, vendor and employee has established that. It is hard to prove it because everyone scammed by them has a difficult time documenting times, dates and names of their transactions and/or conversations. Employees past and present are more interested in taking care of their own needs than focusing on documentation. They also make a habit of hiring desperate, young, and/or uneducated employees.
