PlatinumPartner.com
Platinumpartner.com contacted us with a fraudulent offer in order to get a free 24 hour test drive of their fastgamedownload.com ad. We put up their ads and they promised to get back to us but didn't. By the time we realised we had lost around $300 by placing their ads. It turns out they use this technique to get free advertising and apparently have no intention of ever paying for ad placement.
In addition a report on Google Groups from an actual customer says their site is "a total SCAM"... read full review »
SwimOutlet.com
On July 3, I ordered two bottles of Kinesys Fragrance-Free sunscreen from SwimOutlet.com. The order arrived very quickly -- just a few days later -- but they had sent mango-scented sunscreen instead of fragrance-free. I emailed them -- twice -- but received no reply. I called several times but was placed on interminable holds. Finally, on July 18th, after waiting on hold for twenty minutes, I spoke to a customer representative. They said they would send a UPS return mailing label so that I could return the improper merchandise and get a credit... read full review »
Royal Camera, CCI, USA Photo Nation
After seeing very low prices for a Canon EOS 5D I called three sites trying to place an order. 2 of them, Royal Camera and CCI immediately aknowledged the camera advertised was actually a gray market item and not intended for sale in the USA. I doubt they would have been forthcoming with this information had I not asked. What does not make sense is that on both sites the camera came with a $300 manufacturers rebate. Since the cameras were not intended for sale in the USA, there is no way Canon will give this rebate.
The third company I... read full review »
BannerGrams.com
Hi there!
I have placed a request ordering a personalized banner for my husband's 30th Birthday on July 12, 2006. I was billed a total of $51.00 and was credited right away to my credit card. My order banner was supposedly be delivered in 2-3days, but I never received any banner until now. I have called so many times and left them so many messages, but no response. I also sent them so many e-mails and same thing I got no response.

Healthy4life.com
I would like the public to be aware of ordering products from the healthy4life.com site. These people took my order, charged my credit card for over $300 and never sent out my product. They then avoided my emails and phone calls for over a month. When I finally got someone to respond they promised that the product would be to me in less than a week. When I still did not get my product I started again to get someone at the company to acknowledge me. They then promised to refund my money. I still have no refund of product and now no will respond... read full review »

www.EliteMate.com
I for certain know that I wouldn't trust my $ to Elitemate.com (and I never did because of their strangely "too good to be true" environment like this:
- daily bombarding with generic emails from a wide range of people of whom many don't read the profile
- better looking women than a realistic random sample
- high price and "fancy web design" (although, ineffective)...
- even with the significant lack of self-description the emails from people are still received as if they're interested, for example: How... read full review »

Armore.com
Internet business Armore.com: I purchased a one month subscription on July 3rd 2006 and the 29.95 came out of my checking account, however, I am not able to access the site information. I called numerous times and emailed the company, but still no action has been taken to assist me. I talked with a woman one time on the phone July 10th and she told me she would take care of the problem, but I have not heard back from anyone yet and, again, I only get their answering maching. I believe there is something wrong here and would like some assistance.

AOL VISA Credit Card
AOL Visa Card: Here's a cute little trick from the folks who like to offer you "exceptional services" when you call. Don't believe it. I had been a good customer of this card for some time, but had paid it off and hadn't used it for awhile. Then began the letters promising a good rate if you would take out a cash advance or transfer balances. The letter always said: This is the amount you can take out..in my case 14,500. Just wanted to share my recent experience with the online retailer Amazon.com and why I've decided to stop using them. I've ordered a few things from them in the past and their delivery has always been a little off. The last item I ordered is a gift for my nephew:

FreeGiftWorld.com
I am writing to discourage anyone from getting scammed by 'FreeGiftWorld.com'
I am your average middle-class consumer who wanted to find a good deal on a DVD box set that I enjoy. After searching the web for cheap prices, I eventually took the bait of 'freegiftworld.com'
Here?s How They Get You:
1.) First, you are asked to enter your e-mail address as well as your physical address so they can ship your alleged 'FREE' gift.
2.) Second, you are asked to take a small survey of possible consumer products or services you may be... read full review »

I ordered live tomato tree plants from Gardners Choice, Hartford, Michigan in March 06. They cashed my check, and I never received the plants. I've tried calling a number of times, and they do not answer their telephone. I've sent emails and those have gone unanswered also. I checked with the Van Buren County Clerk in Paw Paw, Michigan, and found that they did not renew their business since last October 05. Indeed.com
I use indeed.com to look for work. But lately, this website has disappointed me. I would see what company is hiring, and go and get an application. But when I go to get an application, the employer would tell me they are not hiring and never was. Like for example, I went to CVS to apply for two jobs that were listed in indeed.com, and I went to the manager to introduce myself and get a job application. But he told me that indeed.com always places them on their website telling people they are hiring, when really they are not hiring at all. This website shouldn't even be online. I feel they are a scam job website. read full review »

The products displayed on the webiste look to be authentic but the item that we received was not identical to the item online. The shoes were supposed to be Gucci but were not even genuine leather, it was more like plastic. Also the second time my husband wore them, the buckle broke. This was a waste of $139... don't be fooled the stuff in this website is fake and not even worth half of what they are charging. BUYER BEWARE!!! read full review »
