GardnersChoice.com
July 20, 2006
I ordered live tomato tree plants from Gardners Choice, Hartford, Michigan in March 06. They cashed my check, and I never received the plants. I've tried calling a number of times, and they do not answer their telephone. I've sent emails and those have gone unanswered also. I checked with the Van Buren County Clerk in Paw Paw, Michigan, and found that they did not renew their business since last October 05. Sounds like a case of fraud, since they actively advertise. read full review »

FreeGiftWorld.com
July 20, 2006
I am writing to discourage anyone from getting scammed by 'FreeGiftWorld.com' I am your average middle-class consumer who wanted to find a good deal on a DVD box set that I enjoy. After searching the web for cheap prices, I eventually took the bait of 'freegiftworld.com' Here?s How They Get You: 1.) First, you are asked to enter your e-mail address as well as your physical address so they can ship your alleged 'FREE' gift. 2.) Second, you are asked to take a small survey of possible consumer products or services you may be... read full review »

Buyer BEWARE!! This company sold me bamboo flooring that their advertising states is 27% harder than hardwood. I had the flooring installed and it looked beautiful... until it was walked on. I have two dogs that are groomed and have their nails trimmed and filed regularly. Every inch of this floor is scratched just from them WALKING on it. I contacted the company and they tried to make me pay for an inspector to come and look at it. I refused. The inspector came (at their cost... gee, isn't that how a legitimate business does it?) and... read full review »

Easy Click Travel
Peter Stoop May 6, 2011
Last week, I received the news on the cancellation of a reservation of two hotel rooms (for me and my family) booked 7 weeks ago on EASYCLICKTRAVEL. So, no sooner than 7 weeks after the booking. I had paid directly, using my credit card. I had paid 1360 euro. The company refunded 1260 euro, so around 100 euro (125 US Dollar) less!! I called the information help desk line from Europe (where I live) to ask for explanation. The operator told me that the company was unable to verify the information I had submitted. BluDomain offers stylish and reasonably priced websites, however, their customer service just crosses over what their developers have to offer. The templates are often delivered late, the bugs are fixed long, emails rarely returned and the phone doesn't answer. With such service it's impossible to run your website properly. I'm rather usuing Readyphotosite now. Their templates are nice and functional and the service is great! read full review »

RedEnvelope
AG1301 March 30, 2011
I purchased men's Acorn slippers from RedEnvelope a little over a year ago. Over the last few days they've fallen apart. The sole split open on one, then another. It's as if the thing just dissolved. I called RedEnvelope today, and explained the situation -- including that they've only been worn indoors (which the treads would have shown) and not been exposed to any abnormal use. A rep and a supervisor told me that they take returns for only 180 days, no matter what. He acknowledged that they might be defective, but... read full review »

They offered me a twenty dollar discount, which I have yet to see and have charged me again and still no product, Visa gave me a number I could call to cancel the product, which i did. GOVERNMENT LIQUIDATION

I've done business with this organization for the past two years. Recently, items are missing from every lot I purchase. No one wants to accept responsibility. Hard to get a refund. I just bought two lots in one event. One complete lot is missing...all items and one item was "pulled" by the government after I bought the item. Beware that if you buy something from this place you may not get it. I think they have alot of criminals working in their warehouse locations. They know they can steal items and no one will do anything... read full review »

Savings.com (ARA) - The recession has been a period of ups and downs for many Americans. Unemployment is up, the stock market's down. Retail sales are down, but use of coupons - especially online coupons or coupon codes - is way up. According to a report by The Nielsen Company, two-thirds of American households used coupons so far this year for a total of 1.6 billion coupons redeemed. That's an increase of 23 percent over last year. With the rise of the almighty coupon comes increasing reports of coupon fraud and scams. The... read full review »

Girimen March 31, 2011
I use indeed.com to look for work. But lately, this website has disappointed me. I would see what company is hiring, and go and get an application. But when I go to get an application, the employer would tell me they are not hiring and never was. Like for example, I went to CVS to apply for two jobs that were listed in indeed.com, and I went to the manager to introduce myself and get a job application. But he told me that indeed.com always places them on their website telling people they are hiring, when really they are not hiring at all. This website shouldn't even be online. I feel they are a scam job website. read full review »
