American Honda Finance Corporation
Beth O. July 2, 2009
As many of us have struggled in this past year, I have struggled at times as well to conscientiously make good on my loan agreement and make on time payments. At the time they came unannounced and repossessed the vehicle, I was one month behind (going on two). I attempted to make a payment on the loan that amounted to one payment. They refused to accept it stating they would accept all or nothing. They soon came and took the car in the middle of the night with absolutely no notice shortly after they had refused the offered payment. They had... read full review »

Fred July 2, 2009
Just wanted to tell people out there about some things I've noticed. I lost my job a couple months ago and started looking for employment right away. I noticed that by being a member of Careerbuilder, I was getting scams sent to me via email. I received at least 3 or 4 of these and I thought I would share one of them with you. I received a phone call from someone who I thought was a tele marketeer. Usually I just hang up but before I could this person told me I was accepted as a secret shopper and she would be sending me the info... read full review »

Kaplan University Des Moines Campus and online
brittanylynnlaws18 July 2, 2009
Ok, well when i first started Kaplan i was fresh out of high school and went straight into into college. My mom had started going there when it was called hamilton so I thought it would be a decent school. Not only did they scam my mom out of money but all of her friends and even me. Well i dropped out and should have had pretty much a free ride from what i was told. Come to find out that wasn't the case. Well i re-enrolled here recently to do online because i don't have the time to do on the ground campus classes, i did have a... read full review »

TheFreeProject
Helen July 2, 2009
I was recently scammed out of an iPod off of http://www.ipods.thefreeproject.com. I completed all of the requirements (legitimately, I might add), and after the owner approved me for an iPod, he puts my account on hold (refuses to send my iPod) because he received an anonymous e-mail on something completely unrelated to me and TheFreeProject. Basically, the site owner, Kirby Fine took the word of a complete uncredible stranger over a valued, honest, loyal customer such as myself. I have complained the the BBB of Houston, Texas, but that take... read full review »

PEOPLE LOOKING FOR FRIENDS AT zorpia.com saying i have found a friend. THEY ARE STATING THAT THEIR PARENTS DIED, OR HUSBAND DIED AND INHERITED MONIES, BETWEEN 2.5- 10.5 MILLION DOLLARS, LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO OPEN BANKING ACCOUNTS SO THEY CAN DEPOSIT THE MONIES INTO THAT ACCOUNT AND WILL RECEIVE 20 PERCENT OF THEIR INHERITANCE. Alumnisearchnet
Ian July 2, 2009
If you ever feel like pulling out infomration on your previous college pals do not try alumnisearchnet.com. What they do is tell you that unlike any other similar sites, you can join for free and then when you find who you're looking for the site will not show you the info found until you subscribe and pay. So I tried a serious of meaningless characters in first, last and school name fields and guess what! My search according to them had matches but I had to pay to see the results! So do yourself a favor and don't go there. Cheers. read full review »

Just joined this site and am really enjoying the wealth of valuable information available. :) Yesterday, I must have read threads for several hours. Most verified my true thoughts about many of the scams out there whether they come through job posting websites or other sites, such as work at home or own your own business items. Of course we would all love to find some real work at home jobs that are legitimate. Unfortunately, other than survey work, there doesn't seem to be much out there in the internet. What does boggle the... read full review »

Return the goods get a bill for $75.86, guy claims ignorance about the original quote and on top of it the equipment is worn dorn and defective! With so many other stores renting they need to get their shit together. NEVER AGAIN. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read full review »

KennedyDiesel.com
Howard July 2, 2009
TheDieselPage.com is a so called internet magazine supposedly offering information on diesel engine and trucks. TheDieselPage.com charges users a membership fee. TheDieselPage.com by it's owner's admission, he Jim Bigley, receives money, and/or products for so called "feature articles" and "product reviews" and also requires "advertising commitments", so the so called information is not reliable as it is biased and the majority of the paying members are unaware that they are paying to be members to... read full review »

All1Source
Dan July 2, 2009
Damn! It's very disappointing when you hire someone to do work for you and they cheat you. Thousands of dollars for what has been a free membership at Music Forte has basically been flushed down the toilet. I've been so eager to see great new features for all the musicians here. But a lot of that intense programming that I'm not able to do on my own has been shelved, because Wilson Wong of All1Source has lied his way into the pockets of unsuspecting businesses like myself and the outsourced development teams in India that... read full review »

There will put you on hold, schedule vacation time with you and then a few days before pull the rug out from under you and tell you there is trouble with the trip and expect that you will reschedule, and then keep repeating this process until the you are scammed out of the $400.00. I recently upgraded to the 3.5 version of the Mozilla Firefox web browser. Upon using it, the "right click" copy-paste-etc. function on the Firefox web pages was disabled. I paid the JA! scam the $9 fee via PayPal, and the grossly stupid answer they sent me was to restore my computer to the previous operating state, which would have deleted Firefox version 3.5. If I consulted an 8-year-old pseudo PC Guru, I would have expected a goofy non-responsive answer like the above. As it happens, my son is a PC Guru and he fixed the... read full review »

The fellow that operates this site won't let you call or visit. There is no phone number listed on the site, and the address is for one of those mailbox stores. As far as I can tell he doesn't have a business license either, very shady. I prefer sites where you can speak to the owner, and will take other forms of payment than just paypal or cashiers checks.
