We had a problem with our Maytag dishwasher in November 2008, so we called Sears Appliance Repair. They offered a 1 year service agreement. The price seemed reasonable so we paid for the service agreement. I'm glad we did because the incompetent people they have working at Sears Home Appliance Repair have been unable to get the repairs correct. Since AT&T Uverse Installed their service at my home on Feb. 12 2009 I have been complaining about the audio . I had to connect an alternative OPTICAL CONNECTION IN ORDER TO GET THE EXPECTED AUDIO. After many service calls that I consider where done with exelency by the technitians . I still have the same problems. It was $198 x 3 = $594 After that had occured we used there program and then dicontinued. 6 months later $67 appeared on the charge card. They said that we had also agreed, although it is not on a invoice nor on their site, to continue using their service for $67 per month, and that billing would start 6 months after you had signed up with them. Now go to your local friends of library and find that all the good books for sale, are gone or have been priced up. It's because betterworldbooks takes the used books fron the friends of the libraries bookstores (for free) and makes a killing of of them. They also take books that people donate to the friends of library and have the ones they can't sell destroyed. The total atmosphere of this establishment has changed dramatically! Used to be a family oriented style place with a lot of "sit-downs" of Moms, Dads, kids, fun, laughter... no longer. Now the ambiance is more reminiscent of Pedro's Cantina than family. Still considerable "foot" and drive-in activity but 80% of the staff is Hispanic and one has to listen carefully (and speak slowly) to be understood in English. Plus, the language exchange is not something you would want a six year old to hear. The insurance company is wanting to refund me that amount of my warranty and leave me with a piece of furniture that is broken and can cause a harm to son. The bed could collapse and cause severe damage to my son. I live in California and they wanted me to go to Texas to choose a new bed when their is an Ashley furniture about 40 miles away from me.
