Bought this at Smart & Final several months ago and first had occasion to use it this past week. Performance generally satisfactory, but the ratchet mechanism is so flimsy that use of a stiff mixture can bend or break teeth, rendering the device inoperable. My past experience with caulking guns (same mechanism) tells me that the designers didn't actually test it for use with the normal range of baking & pastry products. It's a shame, because the brand name is well regarded, and this product does not live up to expectations. I brought my car in to Five Towns Nissan on Thursday, 10/9/08 for both service and a problem I have had with my car for FOUR years - when I go to put the driver front side automatic window up it pops back down. I purchased Spa Guard Chlorine from this company and after using a small amount, it was apparent it was not working properly. I called the manufacturer with the lot number and learned it was bottled almost four years ago. I attempted to trade in my two old cell phones, but when the company received my phones they stated that the water damage sticker was tampered with and/missing. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. We signed up for what we thought was a 6 month membership, even paid in full upfront. They said no problem to the six month membership. Six month pass and they start charging our credit card for monthly dues. This complaint against Jackson Hewitt Tax Service is not new, but ongoing ever since our 2005 and 2006 Federal and State Income Tax was wrongfully prepared. For 2005 I had to pay $1, 273.51 for overpayment of Federal Income Tax. For 2006 I had to pay $1, 609.60 for overpayment of South Carolina State Income Tax. Never responded to emails after buying copy to disk or even till now. Took a chance and used the simplistic program. Halfway through it bogged down causing the computer to reboot to a fatal error bluescreen. It was unable to reboot until I tried 'SafeMode' which didn't work but at least allowed the checkdisk to function. Pars Cars is very unprofessional with their sales tactics. They take advantage of people who need cars and sell them overpriced vehicles with major problems and though they give you a 30 warrenty on the vehicle you buy the mechanics will not fix the problem with the car they only give you excuses as to why they can't do it or will tell you everything is fine when indeed it isn't.
