4 months after returning our rental car to the Hertz Agency in Idaho Falls Airport, I received notice that a claim of damage to the car was made in the amount of $978.80 with add'l charges totaling $1513.35!! I am an x-model. I took all my high-end runway clothing, including a fur coat and diamond/white gold cross, to her shop to sell. She told me I had to pick it up (while I was out of town). Received letter stating we should call above number. Was told he was collecting a debt for Dakota -originaaly Providian, SAid we should immediately mail $2200.00 before we could start making $50.00 monthly payments. When he was told we had to hang up because of a doctors appointment he said if we hang up it will cost us an addional $2000.00. I received what I thought was an introduction free trial offer of Acai Pure Trial. I got the invoice and there is a $29.95 charge on my credit card for Hoodia Water which I did not order. I am a diabetic and I can't take any type of diet aid. I called and they say "because of a high number of calls" please call back at another time. You have do something in 15 days about returning. This company sends contractors out to your home representing them however if the contractor damages any of your property they put all the blame on the contractor and advise they have no affilications with the contractor. Please do your home work before getting this company do perform any work for your home. They use independant contractors but you need to ensure if anything goes wrong they will accept liabilty. I installed the free version of AVG anti virus. Have not been able to uninstall it since. AVG does not help in any way. No support unless you buy their software. Who in their right mind would buy from people who are creating problems? I took it to Geek Squad to have removed. This company sent postcards asking consumers to respond to a survey to get a $25 gift card. They actually wanted consumers to allow a salesman come over to sell a water filtration system. The person on the phone said that the only way to get the gift card was to have the salesperson come over and discuss the wfs and he would deliver the gift card. The salesperson came over and spent almost an hour trying to sell me the system and did not have the gift card. He said it would be mailed to me, but I have not gotten it. On my October '08 billing from AT&T, I saw an unauthorised billing on the billing detail (under my wife's name, Sharon Brickell). The billing statement listed "Trivoice In'l, LTD" that had both my name and phone number (Stephen Brickell, 805-481-7223). The charge was $14.95 on the AT&T bill. Made an online purchase for a Motorola L9 Slvr earlier this year. Several days passed and the item was not received nor was there any information online about it. Wrote several times and called as well. Finally they told me it was on back order, which seemed odd to have a company charge your credit card on something that is on back order. I eventually canceled the order and they sent a confirmation email that it would be credit to my card on my next statement. I am closing my Washington Mutual checking account today, which I should have done years ago, when this pattern began. What they claim is that customers who have a home equity line with them get free checking. What they actually do is give it free for a while, long enough for you to stop checking for bank fees. My son was taken advantage of very badly by this dealership and Garth Wilson in finance. He was told he would have $350 payments for 60 months on a new Caliber, and when the smoke and BS cleared, he is looking at $450 payments for 84 months.
