I have just bought a new prepaid Airtel chip (No. 99031-7607X). I wanted to know the GPRS settings. First of all navigating through the IVR of Airtel is painful because you have to wait till the voice stops parroting. Then, if by chance you enter a number (option) twice, you get disconnected. I complained to the 1800 number and the complaint no. is 2210504148. Even after several weeks of this complaint they did not come to take the laptop. Finally they took the laptop on 13th Nov, 2006. They promised to return it on 15th Nov, 2006 as I needed it for a lecture. But they have not yet returned it at 6.00pm on 20th Nov, 2006. This is the 'on-site' service they are providing. I will advice to Indian country people. On 9/2/06, I bought a Panasonic Lumix digital camera from Circuit City. 23 days later it was buzzing loudly and would not focus correctly.
