I was approached by a young man at the Greyhound bus station. He informed me he was selling magazines for money to go to college. He had the whole brochure and receipts so I looked thru them and paid $15 for a 1 year subscription of Spin Magazine. I have never received not 1 issue as of now. Do not buy one of these. We bought one and within 1 month the screen was messed up (the pixels were degraded or damaged such that it looks like there are fireworks on the display.) Well, Magellan says it is not covered by their warranty because the screen is a component part that is not manufactured by them. So to get the screen fixed would cost an estimated $150 on this thing we just paid $450 for. Unbelievable. I've payed for a HTC touch diamond from this guy. As soon he got the money, he never answered my e-mails asking for the tracking number he promised me one day after. Never answer the emails. I bought a Hisense washing machine in Octber 2007 - hifi corporation delivered it home. In March 2008 this machine did not work properly. I phoned hifi corp only to be told that they cannot help me as i could not produce proof that i purhcased the goods ther. The Indian lady was extremely rude and unhelpful. I then went inpersonally and was told to go to my bank and get a statement and only then will they help me. They have a copy of the delivery that was made but this is not good enough. I just returned from the worst motel on South Padre, TX. The little Mexican boy was VERY rude when we had “issues” with the room. First off the smell inside the room was almost enough to make you throw up! We thought, eh just a very cheap motel so smell goes with it. When I went to the restroom, I found the source of the smell. This is an awful company; do not ever deal with them. They send out products so poorly packaged that they come damaged. They require you to comply with their policy to notify them within 48 hours of the damage and send in pictures. I did this and they agreed that the items were damaged and would replace them but they never did. I called and called and spoke to customer service people over and over. They even said the items were shipped but they never were. Also, they make you fax them a legal document before they ship to you. Read it closely... read full review »

My bank says they had my acct numbers, but I never gave any authorization for a withdrawal of funds by anyone but me, they used an electronic check with no signiture from me. In early June 2008, I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter. Shipment was sent. I was encouraged to join the the bloomsreward connection for $9.95 a month. I have been billed $9.95 on my credit card six(6) times, twice a month since then. Although I requested bloomsreward cancel my plan in July 2008. I needed some front end work from a collision. It wasn't that bad. Needed new hood, radiator, etc. Took my car to Excel Automotive in Chesapeake, VA and was quoted what I thought was reasonable. Devon Energy tears up roads and has Roger's construction to hire paving contractor's and then only pays the paving contractor half of what the job is worth, Then when you call Devon energy they don't respond and all Rogers does is blame it on Devon. They say Devon only wanted to fix the road half way right and they won't pay us for any extra work done so how can we pay you. Well Roger’s construction should not rely on sub contractors to hire paving companies and pretend that to Devon energy that they are doing it. It seems that they are selling water mixing it with a couple of drops of whatever it is. I sent them over five e-mails asking for a refund and I never heard from them. I purchased a pom puppy from Cheryl & Carrie Boettger. I was told the puppy was 12 wks od when she was 8wks; told she weighed 15oz the evening before she was shipped. Paperwork that came attached to the crate is not accurate. No well check up paperwork attached. My vet weighed her in at 1lb 40z the day after she arrived. She was a very picky eater. She also is not the dog I purchased. The worst of all this is she is sick. She had an echo done and she has pulmonary stenosis. I went to Shop Rite in Old Bridge on Rt 9 North by the Ferry Roud. I wanted to get some cheese and ham for my family breakfast. I was very surprised when instead of thank you I got harassed by one of the workers for making they work hard for my order! Worker talked about me with her co-workers in front of my face with her back turned to me. I got my order with an attitude that has been almost throwing into my face.
