I am wondering if you can help me. I bought a Rococco Chanderlier on the 3/10/2009 from newlightingdirect.co.uk costing 174.57 sterling paid via pay pal. As the light did not arrive within the 2-4 weeks, I requesting a refund on the 8th dec 2009 and still awaiting even though i have e-mailed them a dozen times. An e mail on the 28th feb from them said it was a problem with my paypal and that they had tried to refund me twice but failed. They suggested sending me a cheque which i accepted but this also failed to arrive. The first thing is that they are not the same company and only a few employees work there from the regime of Nationwide or even First Legal.There were two brothers that started the company neither attorneys. I must say that the mattress arrived promptly but I was a bit surprised to see it wrapped tightly like a bundle. Anyways, I left the mattress open for a few days for it to gain its firmness. My friend was over and tried to log into his full tilt account, and received a notice saying authentication failed. He assumed it was his slow computer acting up again so he tried on my computer in which i was already signed in on. I received a letter with an attached check today, claiming that I was one of 20 declared winners in conjunction with the North American Sweepstakes Association. Total prize money of $1.11 million, to be divided evenly among the 20 winners. The check was for $3, 755.00 and looked authentic. It was supposed to be money I could deposit and then send them a check for taxes on the total prize money. Horrible and rude phone agents. Nobody ever has any real answers they just always tell you they'll set up an investigation that takes 24 to 72 hours, and the person doing the investigator will call you when the investigation is over. No investigator ever calls. I've had 3 investigations done now nobody has ever called me back. My experience: I went to BigBazaar hebbal today (06May2010). After little shoping in the ground floor I steped into lift to go to 2nd floor to continue my shoping. I just paid off my auto loan with HSBC auto finance. I paid off the amount ,a little over 15k,that was stated in their billing statement. I have never been late with a payment. 1) The timer jumps back and forth between seconds at times. I am not the only user who notes this. Regardless of whether I use my PC, Mac, or portable device, I see this happen.
