We have been dealing in Metal scrap for quite some time. However in recent times we have noticed very high number of sellers on the net, specially with free sites like alibaba.co and many others. Some sellers offer ridiculous low price, and tempt the buyers, but ask for 30% advance. The phone numbers given is 070xxxxx and who knows how much premium they are paying for that even to call !!. The other way is that they ask for LC before confirming the goods. These LC are used to finance, and used for as long as possible, and then returned. I too went through the same song and dance with Ebay customer service after winning a vehicle from netexchangeauto. I won a 99 Ford F150 for $3105.00 the ad stated there would be a $150 service fee charge added on to the final total after the auction. Which is only the cost that Ebay charged this joker for placing each ad. This company is ridiculous. They offered a free trial of the Globe and Mail but their device would not download it - I just got error messages. The offer was for two weeks and if I cancelled then I would not be billed. As I never got the free trial but noticed that my Visa was billed. After complaining to customer service, repeatedly, they have taken the position that I should have cancelled after the free trial even though I did not get the free trial. In 1989, I owned a home in Moreno Valley, CA. I had an ADT account for the full house security system, one day I had received a call while out with my family at a movie theater, that my alarm had went off. When I had gotten home I was told by the alarm company that they had to enter my home through the upstaris window through my daughters room to see if there were any intruders in my home. I was told that no intruders were found. Worst customer service ever. Seriously, the worst. In my time on earth I have never delt with a company that is as rude as this one is. My service was disconnected yesterday. I have lived at my apartment for three months, and in those three months I have NEVER recieved a bill from CenterPoint. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I have been a customer for 13 years and spent over $15, 000 there. Today they made me pay $20 for a watch battery that I had already bought a lifetime battery warranty on. The money was not the issue it was paying for it twice!!! And the horrible way the manager there treated me. Earlier this year I had to pay over $200 for my wife's watch battery replacement.
