I have been using Standard chartered Bank since 5 years and also have a salary account with them. I took a loan by converting credit limit of credit card into cash. I had agreed on auto deduct of installment every month and deduction of final outstanding at end of term. At time of last payout, although there was enough balance in my account to clear out dues only minimum due was cleared by bank on due date. I got SMS notification of deduction around 9 am next morning. Whenever I withdraw cash via ATM I get SMS notification in 30 mins however... read full review »

Signed up for an account on their mailing system. And sent out a 5000 emails. They received 2 complaints and then suspended my account. I can see if 20% of the emails you sent out getting complains and suspending my account, but only 2 emails. Meanwhile, I paid them, and now I can't use their system. When you call you get a quote of $39.95 plus $15 and up to unlock when you call. Then will not give you any other quote even when you identify the vehicle to them. Upon arrival the service man want s $95 for the unlock, for a total bill of $135. When asked why the $80 dollar discrepancy between the $15 and up quote you are told it is due to insurance for scratches to the paint or pierced weather stripping. I don't think most people know this, but if you are travelling in Europe and your flight is delayed or cancelled, they have to pay you additional compensation. According to an ad in the Chicago Sun Times, there is a law firm looking for American citizens who have been delayed or cancelled in their flights while travelling through Europe, probably for some type of mass lawsuit. Asked a question in the TV/Electronics section. Got the answer after 2 days - I have had my issue resolved by then as it was quite urgent. This site presented itself up front to be very professionally set up for legitimate online business and included a shopping cart. I placed an order. My credit card was instantly authorized. I received two email responses from two different senders with my order attached. Seemed like the normal procedure for other online transactions I've made in the past.
