Bad delivery service
I was in my home all morning, awaiting delivery of a package. When I checked the tracking service at 9:30, I was told that a delivery was attempted at 9:24 - obviously I had been here for the last 10 minutes so I knew this couldn't be right. But sure enough, there was a slip in my letterbox claiming I was not there. Shameful that a delivery driver doesn't have the presence of mind to knock on the door or ring the doorbell.
The UPS website also has no complaints system, and when I called the contact number from the website I was first put on hold for 15 minutes, then hung up on by the staff.
Absolutely dreadful customer service. Will be telling everyone I know to avoid UPS in future.

Awful service
Aboslutely Shocking customer Service. Have been on hold for the past hour and a half and before that was on hold all of yesterday afternoon, the staff are unhelpful and just push you from one department to the other.
I ordered 7 packages to be delivered to a UK address, 6 of them turned up when they should have and one for some reason went to Brussels. Eventually, when i got through to deliveries i was told that the package had been diverted and now would be at its destination within 24 hours. Not even one apology.
This morning, whilst tracking the progress of the remaning package, i discovered it is now in the Netherlands. After being on hold for an eternity and being pushed from one department to another im finally told that theyre 'looking into it' and i should expect a call back at some point, but, incase i dont, to keep the number at hand to call them back!
The UPS website is awful and has no complaints system, oh and they cut me off.. twice!
Will NEVER use UPS again and make sure that I tell everyone to avoid UPS at all costs

Appalling service
The Shedule delivery did not take place seemingly because of adverse weather however their Depot is only 3.5 miles from my house and all the roads have been cleared. I have not been advised of a revised delivery date. Their customer service is extremely poor and frustrating. I have lost confidence in their ability to deliver within the agreed times and will never use this service again or buy products from suppliers who use them as a courier.

Ruined Christmas
I had bought the most beautiul christmas gift or a family member and decided to rely on UPS to have it delivered next day "guarenteed".
I rang up to order directly with a human being instead of on the webiste. The girl I spoke to was difficult to understand and I had to repeat myself constantly. When I asked if my delivery was "guarenteed" to be delivered on Christmas Eve, I was told - in broken english - that the deliveries were getting through without delay in my area (there had been some snow 5 days earlier).
Imagine my suprise when the package was NOT delivered. I called the tracking department where I was told that the call centre was closing and they could not help me. I was then hung up on.
I now cannot talk to anyone at UPS until Wednesday. There is NO complaints system on thier website and I will never use this ridiculous excuse for a delivery service again.
The stress and anger caused by UPS was nothing compared to the fact that my elderly mother had nothing to open on Christmas day, Thanks a lot UPS.

Tracking... no chance!
I arranged for a parcel to be collected from my In laws and delivered through UPS "express" service. The delivery driver was not only rude to my Mother-in-law he left her with no paperwork.
Now the parcel has failed to turn up and I can't track the parcel as the only place that has the tracking number is the paperwork they never gave to my mother-in-law. To make matters worse they have no way of looking up tracking number, even though I know the pickup and delivery addresses as well as the times for both.
They have taken my money, failed to deliver on or even near the time slot and they can't even tell me where it is!
The only answer I get is that their systems can not track items by anything other than the tracking number!
Completely and utterly useless.

Poor service
Always late, tracking never shows a true representation of the parcel. They leave the parcel with other houses when it's against your request. avoid.

Delivery failure
I would like to make a formal complaint regarding a package that I needed to be delivered today. This item is perishable. I have been at home all morning. My children and I sit down for lunch at 11 am most days. Today was one of those days. So you can imagine our surprise when I was about to do dishes when I noticed the card from UPS. It stated the driver attempted to deliver at 11:08. We never heard a thing. Neither did our dog, who hears everything. I phoned customer services who then passed my details to the depot. The depot phoned back promptly and said the driver had knocked on the door..not rang the door bell. Again I stated we were having lunch and unless his knock was very light we heard nothing..nor did the dog. He said the driver may or may not be able to redeliver... I advised him of the perishable nature of the package and stated it had to be delivered today. He said there was nothing he can do. Well I am not happy with that. A company pays you for a service, I wait around all morning for it to be delivered to then be passed off as your staff have more important issues... This package has to be delivered today.

Employees are liers and ruin my Womens Day Program at my church
On February 11 2011 I missed a 1:44pm delivery called ups at 3pm I was told from an employee in their service center that I could meet the driver on his route or pick up my package at the service center she called back told me the driver said he would deliver the package after 5pm the same day. I waited from 5pm to 7pm and called back and was told that my package was going to be delivered. At 10pm I called and was told that I could pick up package at the service center by Feb.18th.
so upset with the people at ups for their lies. I needed those shoes for Sunday, I can not buy shoes in the stores I wear 12 narrow stores don't carry them so I have to order on line.And I paid extra for next day delivery.Have to wear red Sunday and now i have no red shoes. Thanks to the lies by ups employees.

Charges, unexplainable!
I received a parcel to my door, which had been paid for along with shipping.
I contacted customer service in regards to the COD charges, for explanation.
On a package with goods worth $350 they claim there are COD fees of $106? Absolutely insane! The shipping itself cost more than that! The CSR wasn't able to explain the COD fees, either. Customs documents tell what fees are charged, and why. This woman stammered her way through what was not even close to an explanation.
I will NEVER be shipping UPS again, and will be certain I tell everyone of this horrible experience.

Worst company in history!
I think all of America should boycott UPS until when and if they reform their despicable business practices. Today is just the latest in a long string of shoddy business practices by UPS. I have been waiting for a package that was supposed t be delivered 10 days ago, still not here. Called every day and assured with 100% certainty the package is en route and will be delivered today. Still no package. When my father died last year, I shipped some of his belongings to my home and insured each box for $500. When they arrived items were shattered in each box. I filed a claim with UPS and they denied covered because they said "I didn't package the box appropriately" although each item was individually wrapped in bubble wrap and filled the box with peanuts. This should be illegal.
