Store would not let me cancel order and get refund!
Store manager would not let me cancel my order and get a refund on an item that I am still waiting for three weeks for. I was guaranteed 7-10 days but still has not got here. So, went in the store the customer service online says I have a right to cancel my order and get a refund. Store manager and staff were very rude and thought it was a joke and denied me my refund. Told me that when the item was actually in the store they'll cancel it and refund. Made a joke about me being on disabilty and being a Veteran! Told them I would notify attorney and other Veterans about this and they said go ahead we don't really care and laughed! Do bnot do buisness with Walmart in Randleman NC!

Poor Service
I bought a new game for my computer titled "Medal of Honor Limited Edition" from Walmart and was really excited about the opportunity to play this game which I had heard so much about. When I got home I discovered that I was having a very difficult time loading the game onto my computer. I spent the next day, in my limited spare time, trying to troubleshoot the download of this game only to discover that my one year old computer did not have the proper video display chipset and that it would cost me $300-$350 to upgrade my system to this more advanced display system (nVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT) after the technician purchased and installed this onto my computer. So to my dismay I went back up to Walmart and explained my dilemma only to be told that there was nothing that could be done, they were sorry but I should have had the capability to go through my system prior to purchasing this game and all they were willing to do was exchange the disc for the same disc. This was due to the fact that the disc was open. I had no idea that the game would not work prior to attempting to load this game on my computer. I understandable was fuming, how was I to know that my one year old computer was not sufficient to run this game? Do they seriously expect people with limited to no computer skills to check their system prior to purchasing a game? Needless to say the largest retail provider has permanently lost my respect and business.

Negligence
I have never put words to paper regarding my Mother's untimely death but after 20 years and a month I thought it might be a good release...
Following my Mother's death in 1990, my family spent 10 long years in both state and federal courts fighting for rights of consumers and the reasonable security they are owed when visiting a retail store such as Walmart. Not only did Walmart's legal team deny that my Mother was anywhere near there store when she had receipts from their store the day of her death, they also argued that they had no responsibility for her or anyone else's safety on their premises. Using the clout that a corporation of their size has, they were able to be dismissed from our case. While I understand the goals of any corporation, I deplore the efforts of Walmart's legal team who hid evidence and skirted the law in order to free Walmart from any legal obligation they had at the time of my Mother's murder.
I have not bought a single item from this God forsaken company since the day my Mother left us.
I understand that life isn't fair, and that "fair" is nothing but a festival that comes once a year. But I also believe in karma, and those who err on the wrong side of it are only waiting for karma to come full circle.

Discrimination
Greetings, today at Wall-mart I was denied service at a money center by three managers insisting that I did not have proper ID to receive service. The cashier was respectful and stated that I needed to speak to a Manager if I wished to seek further resolution. Then came Shawn, a customer service manager, whom did nothing in the form of customer service and managed only to encourage other associates to one look with disapproval as though I was somehow wrong. Shawn then called Brian whom was of no help either and he proceeded to call Mr. Smith (Store Manager I believe.) whom stated that in order for me to do business in this way (obtain a moneygram with my name on it) I needed to produce a SSN, Military ID, Tribunal ID, State ID, US Passport. He tells me that my Passport is foreign, I tell him that I have none of the other so-called required documents, but I do have a SAM'S CLUB CARD. He says its still not enough. I then pull out a state authenticated document stating my nationality and my reasons for not having ID. He laughed at it, I asked him if Walmart's policy superceceds the laws of Florida and its jurisdiction, he says yes and further states that the company is private and has its own policy. I stated that he was violating my rights, he said no I am not. I asked him again to look at the documents (to avoid further complications) he said no, I don't need to because I am not in line with Walmart's ID policy. Also, consider that all three Managers circled around the area in a psychologically intimidating manner to deny me my right to enjoy a liberty that other citizens enjoy. I may not be a US citizen, but I am a real life flesh blood person and am afforded unalienable rights by the Constitution.
None of these people cared that my non-use of these devices of ID were an exercise of my rights as a natural person to live free and in service of the Creator. These individuals made light of me proclaiming my nationality, therefore showing deep disrespect for my people, my Creator, and my way of life. I have yet to receive my moneygram.

Poor Customer service
1-Customer service(Lack Of)-- I went to return a book that I bought and already had one at home. The customer service rep said that policy is that books can ONLY be returned with 24 hours. I had my receipt and the binding on the book did not even have a crease or fold on it. Then I wanted to return a defective light sensor. The rep told me to go to the department and find another product with the same UPC on it; she could not return it with just the receipt! So I went to the electrical department, found the product, and stood in line again to wait for the next customer service rep. She then refunded my money on the light sensor only. ( KMART had just refunded 3 books that I had bought 4 days previously and already had copies of. NO QUESTIONS ASKED) At most stores if a Upc is needed, the customer service rep calls an employee to go and check on it, not ask the customer to go retrieve it. 2- Pharmacy problems. I called in 1 week ahead of time to ask Walmart to transfer a prescription from another pharmacy. When I arrived to pick up my drugs, it was not there and Walmart did not know where my prescription was. I called the other pharmacy and they said that they had transferred the Rx to Walmart. Walmart did not do anything to resolve the problem(they should have called the other pharmacy again to transfer the Rx information, and then filled the Rx) Another time I called ahead of time to ask for the price on a medication and to make sure that the drug was in stock at Walmart. A few days later I went to Walmart to fill the Rx. They did not have the drug in stock and said that it would take a week to get it. In the meantime, my Rx would expire before the drug came in, so I had to get the Rx filled at another pharmacy. Each time I had called ahead of time to give the pharmacy time to process the prescriptions and they were not ready and the employees seemed not to care to resolve the problem.

Animal Cruelty
I was walking through Walmart yesterday and I was looking at dog treats and I heard this screaming noise like a little animal and I looked under the shelf and there was a mouse stuck on a glue trap trying to get off and it was screaming! This was extremely disturbing especially since I love animals so much. I almost got physically sick! I can't believe that they would use those things instead of a normal quick trap to kill mice. What if it was a curious little kid looking under the shelf...anyone could've heard this. I didn't know what to do and I thought about it all day...couldn't get the image out of my head! I don't know if I will ever go to Walmart again! I would've taken a picture but that seemed morbid and I couldn't look at it again...made me want to cry.

survey
Given a option to give a survey information to get a chance to win a $1, 000 gift card, the program insists I give them information to sign up for $9.95 onto something in order to get that card. I am not really given a "chance" to win but an obligation to sig up to be billed to recieve a card. This is fraud in my opinion because I was told I was entering a survey for a chance to win something not that I had to buy something in order to recieve anything. That's bait and switch. I thought Walmart would be above fraud. that is the only reason I went to the site in the first place. Do I inform the BBB of this practice? Or will the cashier start inforing customers, here, this is to sell you something in order to get a gift card if you go to the website and put in the coded number.
Carol Zatzkin until today, a very loyal customer.

Daughter injured
My 14 month old child's foot got stuck in the grocery cart at walmart. It took 3 manager people, three regular workers and a bolt cutter to get her out.
She's okay now. She's going to have a pretty big bruise around her right ankle and some soreness. We were grocery shopping and everything was fine for about 45 minutes, and then my husband says, "Oh my god dude!" and I look ...down and see that SOMEHOW she's stuck her foot in between the little bars beside the leg hole. (kind of like -> |__||, her foot was in the small part.) So we try to pop the foot out of the hole, but it's obviously hurting her each time we try. Then we're getting frustrated so I suggest we go to a department and ask them to call a manager. We end up in jewelery and the old lady is like "Oh my goodness!" And calls for a manager, and an assistant manager lady and a CSM (?) lady comes over and we try to use some lotion. All that managed to do was get them and my daughter slippery. My toddler is pretty calm this entire time except when we're trying to slip her foot out, it was pretty amazing. Then they called for ANOTHER manager, and this tall guy manager and another dept. manager come over and the tall one says, "Oh, I know! We'll use the bolt cutters!" So he calls yet another guy to come bring the bolt cutters over and we're attracting a small crowd at this point. Finally the last guy comes over with the bolt cutters (and a shopping cart guy for some reason) and he has an expression on his face like he's terrified. Well, they end up cutting one of the bars off, but had some difficulty doing that. The bar wasn't wanting to come off so they had to twist and shake it some which meant that it was tightening up on her poor little ankle and that's when she really began bawling, but by that time it was all over and she settled quickly.
Apparently this had happened before which is how the manager knew to use the cutters. They never asked me to fill out a complaint (which I wish I had now!) and I never thought to at the moment because I was obviously upset over my child being hurt. She could have been hurt worse, a broken or sprained ankle, what if her circulation had been cut off? Her poor foot was turning an off-shade of her natural skin-tone. I'd have photos of the bruises, but I haven't been able to take a picture yet since it was bedtime by the time we came home.

warranty
i went to the California wal-mart Jan 2009 and got a new PC. well i have been trying to get this PC repaired since April 2010. the walmart warranty customer service is lacking in one very important thing "customer service". they sent a service person from nexcore here and he replaced the hard drive...did it fix it "nope". still fan running nonstop and the PC still crashing. called the service center again...sent out the same service tech he put a new power supply on the pc..why? OK... still same issue < thinking to myself the power supply is making the fan run nonstop..i dont think so > so called walmart warranty people back...again and I'm waiting and waiting and waiting. no repairs no service..why? well today they say to me " the repair tech refuses to come out and fix your computer" wow what? refuses? OK like are you joking? you are going to have to mail your computer to another state to be fixed. the service tech says he was treated badly. what? are you joking? he said what? okay so he came here twice, i offered to fix him lunch once, and he smiled and we talked, and he said okay if this doesn't fix the problem just let us know. well wow OK now you tell me he said hes not going to come back? i contacted nexcore they said "oh no your warranty provider cancelled your service not us". I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A WALMART AGAIN FOR NOTHING! NEVER AND I WILL BLOG ABOUT THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED WALMART UNTIL I DIE" SO DONT BUY IT FROM WALMART!! YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT! 6 MONTHS LATER AND THIS PC IS NOT FIXED THATS HAVE A YEAR OF THE WARRANTY GONE!
