Please do not go to Brake Check. Their service is terrible. They charge you for stuff you don't need to do or didn't even ask them to do. We had gone there obviously to get our brakes checked. They told us that they would get the check done in 2 to 3 days. After that when we went to pick it up we were asked to wait for half an hour but ended up waiting for more than 45 minutes. They got it done and we took it home. On the way back the brakes did not feel as though the needed repairs were done. The AAA certified repair shop in anderson, sc ( Holiday Automotive Service ) damaged my car to the extend my insurance company had to pay to fix the damage. (Shattered windshield, numerous dents big enough that chipped the paint). The owner Dave Edwards was very sarcastic about it when I spoke to him. I bought a Nissan Sentra w/6 miles on it in June 2008. Transmission went out on this car July 12, 2009. I had to pay for the towing of this vehicle to get it worked on. Then it took at least 2 transmissions from the factory to get one that was not defective. Bottom line I had to even pay for the rental car for all of this time. $2488.00 out of my pocket. I've taken my Honda Accord to Midas #504 (Cincinnati, OH-Glenway Ave) 4 times in the last 6 weeks for the exact same problem. The car would turn over but not start. The first visit they replaced the fuel pump because I was told the fuel pump wasn't getting enough fuel. Replacement of tires due to nail in rear and a hole in front covered by insurance. Nov 3, 2008 I took my boat ( 2005 Crownline ) in to have a repair done to the water manifolds on the engine. I also requested that they check for further damage done by water freezing. I purchased a new KIA Sedona in August 2007 with Michelin tires. I drive approximately 775 miles per month mainly to hospitals and doctor's offices in the local area. Never once has this vehicle ever been out of town. I have religiously had my Sedona serviced at each designated interval and have had the tires rotated and checked. On Sunday, I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and was. This was my first time visiting the business. I dropped off the car around 3:00pm and picked it up at closing time at 5:00 pm.On my way home, I noticed the oil light on and a few minutes later, the car died on the service road.
