Just Brakes = Just Bad
I'm an owner of a Honda CRV 1997... As with everyone who has complained, throw my experience in here, too. One back wheel brake squeak turned into both front and back wheel brake repair and 850 dollars later... never ever go there again...next time it'll be the dealer or the neighborhood Honda mechanic. On top of an overpriced repair, the parts used looked...well, used!...rusty and got rustier soon after they were installed...(suspect cheap foreign parts) If anyone reads this before you go, there are better options...the dealership or Hondatechs in Duluth, Ga. I just had to get this off my chest. read full review »

A1 National Van Hire
Lortdore May 18, 2010
This company does not include VAT in their quotation until after you have confirmed the booking and so commited yourself. Nor do they quote a VAT number on their web site or email confirmation. I am certain they are breaking the VAT laws and also mis-selling their services this way. Another point to watch out for. They ask you to scan and send copies of your driving licence and utility bill in a follow up email, putting you at real risk of identity theft. Once you have sent these details, they have your both card details and copies of your key ID documents. This is seriously worrying me. I will be watching my bank account very carefully for some time. read full review »

Greulich's #1
Nixonam May 18, 2010
I brought my mother's car to Greulich's for an oil change. At this time, I was told there was a coolant leak, although my mother stated she never had to add coolant the last 6 months. To be safe, we told them to make the minor repairs, which would take about 1 hour. The charges were over $1000. I didn't want my mother getting stranded anywhere, so I approved the work. When I asked my friends about what they thought it would cost, all replied about $300-$400. I contacted their Customer Service department to discuss this high cost of repair. No one ever contacted me. read full review »

ZC Sterling Insurance
Dan May 18, 2010
I have been dealing with an insurance claim from zc sterling, for 8 months now. The issue at hand is sinkholes on property. They turned the claim saying the people they sent to inspect found no activity, second claimed turned down via letter from them stating that the claim was denied due to them not having the money to pay the claim, so I hired an adjuster, who then hide a company to REALLY inspect the property with equipment, and sure enough found a few sinkholes. now they are willing to pay about half the amount of claim. ZCSTERLING RIPOFFS. read full review »

Probably one of the worst lease return experiences that I have ever had. I will never purchase or lease another BMW again. At lease end, I was under my mile limit and the car was spotless...but they did everything that they could to squeeze money out of me..including finding a small scratch underneath the car bumper and charging me $800 for special run-flat tires (this was not explained to me at the time of lease signing)...it's a huge deal - Those tires are $300 - $400 each on the market. At the end of all of their searching to find... read full review »

On May 15th 2010 I pulled up to the pump #5 swiped my card and began fueling I needed a fill up so I locked the latch and stayed by my vehicle while the gas was being pumped I had about 1/4 of a tank and at $2.69/gal I know it would be about 35-40 bucks so as I was watching the dollars roll through it was now at $32 I looked away and all of a sudden i felt gas splashing on my feet and I immediately removed the pump handle... read full review »

Cottmans Transmission
Statkus May 17, 2010
I do not recommend this shop. They can be friendly but are technically incapable of performing capable work. They are also very expensive. In July 2009 we took our 2003 Volvo to Cottman's with a hard shift problem in to/out of 2nd & 3rd. They estimated what was needed to repair and my fiance agreed to $2, 973 to fix the hard shift problem. We have since taken it back at least 3 more times, none of which did more than improve the shifting temporarily. Last month, I contacted Cottman's Transmission corporate asking... read full review »

West End Nissan Edmonton
milew May 17, 2010
Bought a brand new Pathfinder from this dealership in 2007, thinking the service & warranty would be better than buying a (much) less expensive truck from the U.S. WRONG - the check engine light has been on for 45, 000 of the 52, 000km's I've had the vehicle - dealership is unable or unwilling to repair. The fuel door will not close properly (which may be causing the idiot light to be on) and although it's been in 3 times, they haven't been able to repair that. Then, two months ago, the fuel gauge went - it sits on... read full review »

The jiffy stand on a 2009 Softail wasn't locking correctly and the bike fell over. The dealer put all the blame on the bike owner. Apparantly when you get off your bike you have to pull the bike back and lock the kickstand. the weight of the bike won't lock th kickstand alone. Almost mwkes me want to go back to the metric bikes. Broadway Auto Sales
NJSteve May 16, 2010
Bought a car from Jose Cabrerra of Broadway Auto Slaes and I don't think this guy said a truthful about thing about the sale. He assured me the noise in transmission was normal and gave me his personal guarantee that he would cover the transmission himself if there was a problem. Sure enough with a month I need a new tranmission and he would not return calls. I filed a complaint and won a default judgement but it has been impossible to collect. This guy will tell you whatever you want to here, will even sign documents attesting to it but don't believe a damn thing he says... I learned my lesson. read full review »

We are here in the UK, we are opening a flower distribution company. In October we paid a Scottish broker £35, 000 to obtain a £350, 000 loan for us. He apparently took this request to a company in the US called Prospexx. We waited quite some time for contact, then we spoke with a Mr. Tom McKenzie, pleasant and helpful. He told us that because our first three businesses had ended in bankruptcy this new venture may take some time in raising the capital we needed. We waited well into the new year when out of the blue we were sent a... read full review »

I used to work FOR Paul Blanco so I witnessed a lot of bad deals. This place takes advantage of people with poor credit, they don't try to help them. They lie to the customer's face, the salesmen will hide things that are wrong with the car so that the dealership won't get charged and therefore neither will their commission. This place buys cars from auctions ranging from $500 - $2500 (at the most) and they turn around and resell the vehicles for about 8, 9, or even 10k without even fixing any of the stuff that was wrong when... read full review »
