Would not give info on how it works till purchased. Then one realize that the device only bypasses the ignition switch part of the system and not the entire system. So, if you need the module for the key which is often the problem then this device is of no use to you. They claim it bypasses the entire system and it does not. Went to get my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica inspected and was told it was "Unsafe to Drive" due to the front sub-frame being completly rusted through. Have been told by Chrysler and Military Exchange New Car Sales that they won't cover repairs under the warranty since the car is almost 6 years old. I ordered a scooter from this company online in December 2009. It cost $4, 000, and didn't arrive for weeks. When I finally called I was told Planet Mobility no longer sold this product and so I chose a new scooter. It arrived in February and worked well for a couple of months, but gradually became weaker and weaker, until it can no longer go a half-mile without recharging. A quick summery: If one of their clients damages your car, the only way that I have found to get a fair settlement of a claim is to have your car repaired and get a cheap rental car while yours is being repaired. My car was "rear-ended" by one of their cliants. UAIC sent their adjuster out and UAIC sent me a check for $175 less than my lowest estimate on a $676 repair job. This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The claims department is horrble and the agents never return phone calls or answer the phones. I had an accident on July 3rd and I didn't get a response from the company in three weeks. I had to hunt my agent down in order to speak to her. Took my mini van for a complete detail service before selling it- they put a hole in the driver side leather seat and refused to admit responsibility, pay for the damage or refund my money in full. Car dealers often get a bum rap as being a bit sleezy, but in this case it was true. First, I was sold a used car under false pretenses. ABS was an important option for me, and the dealership assured me the car had this feature. It did not, which I realized a few days after the purchase. I asked the dealership to unwind the deal and give me back by trade in. They would not. My only recourse was to trade this car in for another, which of course ended up costing me a lot more money.
