In october 2008, i signed up for a $99./mo special being ofered by verizon and direct tv. After several billing cycles, i noticed i was paying quite a bit more than the $99. I called verizon to explain and they said i had to call direct tv as verizon was charging the correct amount. I had no way of knowing because the bill was too confusing. I called direct tv and they told me i had to notify them within 2 weeks of the special deal or i had to pay the full amount. In December of 2010 I ordered what was advertised as a complete Love Boat Collection featuring all episodes of the series in correct chronological order. I received the book specified on 3/12/10 and an hour later rang Readers Digest Customer Services for it to be collected. I was asked why I wanted to return it and I said that I had had a quick look and already had some of the receipes; also that the spine of the book was broken in transit. On 13/12/10 it had not been collected and I rang customer services to enquire when it would be collected and was informed that my original telephone call to them had not been logged. I purchased a 60" HDTV Sony Bravia Grand WEGA KDF-60XS955. This was supposed to be a 10 year to 15 year TV. Cost over $5000, 6 months after my 5 year warranty was up with BEst Buy the blue light box is going out. Guess what, it costs as much to replace as a new TV, really $5000 and it can't make it more than 5 years? This job is a scam. They tell you will get paid an hourly wage but, that is not true. Everything you get paid on your hourly wage has to be repaid through your commission of sales. You could make $1000 dollars in commission and actually receive no paycheck because the manager of this company took all your money.
