DVD's were copied from "Turner South" tv. They were in a home made dvd case. No copyright on the DVD. DVDs were home made with a printed DVD lable - like I would make for a home made movie. Shipped from China. No link was provided for tracking. Shows up as "WHAT-A-DEAL-DVD - 1-6477229393" on your credit card. Our wild blue satellite connection is so slow we might as well have dial up! They say to all of us who complain (we are rural) that we are downloading or uploading too much material. We are seniors and basically use the internet for information and do not do downloading or uploading. I believe they have too many customers and cannot handle the traffic! Thank you! Any ideas? My wife recently quit work at this location due to verbal abuse and accusations of drug use, when an assistant manager singled her out and decided to talk to her like she was a dog, made her do other jobs in the building and not wait tables, while the manager waited the tables and took the tips. They wanted personal information right after the purchase. I suspect they were trying to steal my identity. You download this software and it doesn't work at all. I had a pop up from my antivirus software warning me it was a very dangerous download. I demanded a refund and they did nothing nor contacted me back. Since I had been using Nero 8 for a couple of years and it's Nero ShowTime played BD-ROM media (movies), after paying for a plug-in, I assumed that Nero 9 would do the same thing. I ordered two copies of the Carol Burnett DVDs. According to the picture and detail, these should be the same DVDs that have been recently released. No, they are blank DVDs that have been recorded on or copied to. They come in a cheap white sleeve with hand written "Carol Burnett" on the first sleeve and numbers 2-8 on the next seven sleeves. On or about November 13, 2009 I called Time Warner and inquired about the status of my account, that I knew I was behind. I told the customer representative that I had suffered two strokes on August 3, but have since returned to work and would be able to pay the bill in full by first of December. I had not downloaded their movies before and wanted to sample the product before making a long term commitment. I ordered a dvd by credit card. They say they sent it but they only can substantiate that it was sent to the Post Office in Oakland, Calif., not that it ever reached my address. My send to address is my office so someone is always available to sign for items but they do not indicate to me that they get signatures for delivery.
