I received a call in November stating my daughter had indicated she was interested in getting SAT prep materials. After listening to your telemarketer, I agreed to get the CD. Couple of weeks ago I was going through my overpriced HD tier channel on Austins own Time Warner cable TV and realized I was missing a couple of channels. I subscribe to a couple of movie channels, but seeing they don't really rotate new movies in and old movies out often enough I get bored. Myspyer.com claims to allow paying members access to private (Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, ect., ) profiles. Once I paid the $19.99 fee, their was supposed to be a direct link to download the latest version, yet the download failed. I soon realized this was a scam, & sadly I wasn't the only unfortunate victim. I plan to report this fake company to the BBB, yet the damage is already done. I agreed to do the price lock with Time Warner when my bill went up 2 months ago. They quoted me a lower price for 12 months and the first month the bill was right and then it went up the next month. Like another complain here, the site for buying Adobe Photoshop redirected me to the software-hq.net site. There was an offer to sign up for 3 years to use the product (Adobe Photoshop) for $12.65 for a total of $37.95. It stated that the instructions will be sent to me in an email. I was able to download the Adobe Photoshop however the email with instructions never arrived. I paid with PayPal and I will dispute it and hopefully get my money back. Have a 37 in Magnavox tv model #33mf33id/37 not yet 3yrs old. When you hit power the green light blinks than shuts off and it keeps doing that for about 10 20 seconds before it stays on. There should be a recall on this model there are so many complaints on this model with the same problem. It will cost about $300 fix this. read full review »

Like many others, my wife and I made the mistake of ordering hard-to-find DVDs from Planet DVD Store. The disks are poor in quality and performance, and service is nonexistent. They don't answer emails at all, and they give no telephone number or mailing address. Moreover, the DVDs are obviously pirated. I was in a Macdonalds today t in Scarborough Ontario. I saw at least 3 to 4 cash registars open. One Line. when I got in line. then a little latter More customers came in and since no line was really defined by the store itself the new custumers that came in went in front of me by going to the cash with one person. Just opened the box for a Westinghouse 26" LCD tv which I thought was new. I received this tv while I was away for the month. When I opened the box today I saw that the TV set was reburbished. This would not be such a problem if the set was not defective. There is one bad pixel on the screen. I called Ecost.com and complained and they just sent me to Westinghouse.
