I received an email from AT&T informing me I had been awarded $25 gift certificate for opting to use their no-paper email billing system. Great! When I went on line I discovered the rip off. My husband recently bought me the box set of the complete tv episodes of Bronco Layne. Most of the dvd's are unwatchable, the sound and vision is totally distorted. Non of them are ok, some can be watched a bit. It is obvious they have been copied directly from the tv. Even the dvd labels have hand written numbers on them. In the advert it states ' brand new, excellent sound and vision quality'. We have a subscription to Norton Internet Security that we renew every year via Symantec Corp. The terms of our renewal has ALWAYS been on our time frame. We ordered Sport Fishing Magazine 9/7/08 and paid $57. We were to recieve the first issue at then end of Feb '09 or Begining of March '09. It is April and we still have not rcvd one issue. I have placed two phone calls and left a message, the message said I would hear back with in 72 hrs. It has been two weeks and no word. Please just send us the magazine that we ordered. I cannot believe they would use "Square Butts" to try and sell a kids meal? and what does that have to do with Spongebob?? I paid on my credit card the amount of $500.73 for the outstanding amount due to RCN company for cable/phone and computer services. Payment was made April 4th. When I got my credit card bill the name on the payment was to ACTION COMMUNICATIONS BEACHWOOD OH. I suspect this is the collection agency for RCN. These people are deceitful and fraudulent (material misrepresentation). They promise you free watches and 7 magazines which you only allegedly pay for postage. When you hang up the phone and do the math the magazines over the 3 year come out to be over $10000.00(US). I recently purchased a copy of Paint Shop Pro X2 on line from riverstreams.co.uk. However when the disc came I had a great deal of trouble installing it into my computer. As a result I contacted Coral for some help. When I gave them the product ID number they informed me that this was an OEM version that was only to be given with a product and that it had no support. The direct debit request for April was 10 times the normal monthly amount. There is no reply to the telephone number supplied by the above company, no reply to e-mails and the additional number on the internet is "no longer in use". I have incurred bank charges and charges for using premium phone lines that go to answer machines. I suspect the company is in liquidation and has been requesting direct debits when not in business. For the last two weeks the air condition is not working in the lobby. I have spoken to three managers so far and all they can say is that the office know's about it. SO DO SOMETHING !!! They said that in the back was cool but no air in the lobby. There was a lady who got too hot and got dizzy and had to leave because of the heat. Ordered a Double Whopper Combo, go large, extra onions and pickles. Was ready to pick up my order and the slaesperson looked at my order and noticed it was a single whopper instead of what I ordered and paid for. I recently ordered the series Crossing Jordan DVD discs for seasons 1-6. What I received was a two small box set of some of the series which they recorded from a Crossing Jordan marathon from A & E. When I contacted them, they blew me off with something like a form letter which addressed none of the problems with set I had received which was an INCOMPLETE set. They are guilty of TV piracy and selling DVDs that are not legal. I have received no satisfaction from this company and urge others to do NO business with them.
