I have a complaint about the Cecil Whittakers on Lin Ferry. First of all, the service in this restaurant is always horrific. Every time I call, I am put on hold for a good 10-15 minutes and when I finally do get someone to pick up the telephone they are rude, impolite, and ignorant. One evening I had 2 teenagers with credentials come to my house asking for donations of $15 towards "The Good Shepard Nursing Home" for those needy people to be there and can't afford there stay. Chicago Tribune had some kind of assistance of a kind of match in donations and as a thank you (supposedly) the donator would receive a 3 month subscription. We paid $41 to see a performance of the Metropolitan opera performance which was 25 minutes late, the audio was not fixed until act 2 and there were 3 interruptions to the audio and visual performance. This was Sunday Feb 18 . We were advised by the theater to arrive early for seating, we did so arriving at 2:21, it was more than an hour to performance time. The entire experience was disappointing and we were then made late for a dinner engagement by 30 minutes. I had initially signed up with Dish network for dish service, I had ordered the dish installation through AllSat a dish network retailer. When I signed up with Dish network the only paper that I signed was a 18 contract agreement with Dish network which clearly stated the early termination policy. I have had many problems with Dish Network since signing up with them in January of 07.
