I received a threatening phone call from a collection agency stating that I had a year and a half debt with a company I have never heard of. When I requested that they provide me proof of the debt so that I could review this information and validate the debt. I was told that they would not provide me proof of my debt and that it would be reported to my credit bureau. On Dec. 2oth I purchased a bottle of Loreal liquid makeup from Duane Reade . It wasn't what I wanted, but I couln't return it. I was hoping that Loreal would understand and give me a coupon for a different shade, since Duane Reade won't make exchanges. Loreal didn't give a damn. I'm not made of money, but they expect me to eat the cost. I'm supposed to buy the sunday paper to, if I'm lucky get a coupon. I too responded to an ad on my email re A FREE TRIAL for a "face lift serum" . Foolishly i gave them my credit card details for them to deduct the postage from. After that date they bombarded me with emails requesting that i buy their products which i continually deleted. This past December, ordered a Swiss Legend-brand chronograph from online retailer, World of Watches. I received it and noticed it did NOT function as a typical chronograph/stop-watch does: push the "A" button to start and stop and the "B" button to re-set. I purchased two pair of eye glasses at Sears in Salina around Aug of 2010. I am now down in Mississippi and have discovered that a lens fell out of one of the pairs and I was not able to locate it. I went to the local Sears in Biloxi Ms and was told that it would cost me $75.00 to have a new lens installed. I feel that there was poor workmanship as I have never lost a lense before nor has my husband. The lens must have been improperly installed and I feel that it should be replaced at no cost to me. On May 10, 2010 my father was diagnosed with lung cancer, he passed on September 10, 2010. I have had the worst time trying to get his claims paid, they denied all of his claims for Black Lung Benefits. On October 28th I ordered a full length black leather trench coat that LeatherIcon called the "Helina." They sent me what their website calls as the "Shaina." I called then to ask them to send the correct coat and they insisted that they sent what I ordered. They sent me pictures of what they sent but the pictures are of what it was that I did not order.
