This is not a complaint, but a Suggestion. If you have ordered any of these products on a "free trial" offer, Cancel your debit/credit card IMMEDIATELY! This is the only way I have found to stop the charges. Calling and e-mailing the company to cancel order and stop the charges simply does not work (not even with a confirmation number). I bought a pair of faded glory black jeans from walmart and I thought it was a new pants odor that would wash out, but the odor will not go away and has made the clothes that I washed with them smell the same way. This is a company to stay away from. They offer you a free trial for shipping and handling. When you get the product, within 15 days they charge your account over $50.00. You have only 15 days to return the product. Then they send you refills that you do not ask for. It is very hard to stop the money they suck out of your account. I purchased two sets of eyeglasses at the above business. Unbeknownst to me, they opened up a Lenscrafters Account and charged part of my purchase to the account. Subsequently, they turned the bill over to GE Collections service, which was sending invoices to the wrong name and address. In addition, when my Social Security number is entered by GE, another person's name is shown. I am having trouble clearing up my credit history and am greatly concerned that my social security number has been compromised. Please help with any suggestions for resolution. My impression of SMC. I have read many of the complaints posted on this site. I agree with many of them (if not all of them). I experienced this company's unfair business practice...after 27 payments, the final one mysteriously was late [although sent on time] and they back charged me interest from the start of the plan. Was advertised as a free offer. When you go on the web site to order. The Order blank already has checkmarks on items that cost $10, and $30.00 dollars plus shipping, so when you hit send all the sudden you are responsible for other products. Then you can't return to the screen to delete order. I have ordered many things on line before and never was this the case. I'm concerned because now I too cannot get anyone on the phone to cancel or send back. And most important my CC company called me to tell me about these charges so it sounds like they are aware of problem. They did say they could stop future charges at my request. I have been a patient at Allcare Dental & Dentures for almost a year. It has been a steady downhill experience. I purchased the "free trial" after carefully reading the disclaimer. It does state that the trial starts on the day you receive your product. I carefully marked my calendar and made the choice to return it before the 14 days was up.. Okay so it was on the 14th day. I tried the "trial" program for the Acai Pure. These people have been fraudulently charging my credit card for Acai Pure when I have told them over and over to stop sending it. I did not sign up for the auto ship Lifestyle program. I asked my bank to stop honoring the charges and they wouldn't do it because the merchant has the 3 digit security code from my card.
