I purchased this twin size Sunbeam electric blanket because the heat helps the pain of my fibromyalgia, a muscular pain syndrome. After just a few nights, it stopped heating, and the controls just continued to blink. Couldn't turn it on or off. Requested service call on upright freezer, model no. 2324212102. Freezer is located inside garage of house. Went to put food in freezer and found contents defrosted and spoiled. Outside walls of freezer were extremely hot and compressor was not running. Repairman (tech no. 0005520) came out on 8/17/09 and reported to us that this was normal. Received the wrong item. Their website was wrong. I was unable to get a response regarding the problem. I had to dispute charging with Credit Card to get response. They did update their website after I pointed out the issue but then stated it was my responsibility to send item back before they would ship out the correct item. I refused and after much hassle they sent a UPS call tag. I sent item back but never reimbursed my credit card for item and shipping charge. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Later another package arrives in the mail and I'm charged again. Calling these people does no good. They will tell you anything or they will just hang up on you. I purchased renters insurance through American Bankers Insurance in Aug, 2008 for an apt. I have moved from that apt and on Aug 14, 2009 they took $296.00 using the debit information they had stored from the previous payment for renters insurance. I called and told them I did not request renters insurance for 2009. They told me that once you pay them once, they will keep deducting at renewal unless you send in a statement saying otherwise. Felix Ngati represented in a claim against someone who hit the rear of of my car while I was stopped back in november of 2004. We received a settlement in August of 2005. We received enough money to pay his fees and pay the chiropractor I had to see to recover from the bodily effects of the accident. My August payment was due 8/1/09. I set up a payment through my bank on 8/31/09. Obviously my bank and your offices are not open for business on a Saturday to process payments.
