The well known vulcano problem. After 6 days finally out of Amsterdam. Listing could not be found but happy because I got a flight (2 hours) earlier withwife and 2 infants. Arrived in DTW. Again nothing listen. Checked in, no you have suitcases check in there. Wait. No not here you are international, over there. No not here you are now national over there. They are the biggest ripoff artist I've ever come across. They will suck you in on HUGE savings on vacations all over the world. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. NO customer services after travel tickets are bought nor do they care. There's very little human to human business interaction. Hi, I had travel from Delhi to Dubai on 1st Jan 2011 n coming back on 1st Feb 2011. From New delhi Connaught Place office I had already book my window seat. Then the customer executive said I had booked ur window seat from both the sides. From India I got window seat but not from Dubai. Why? I was rented a room that was filthy. The bed did not have clean sheets or pillow cases, the towels had greasy hand prints on them, same with the roll of toilet paper greasy hand prints, floor had not been vacuumed, tub had not been cleaned, no soap in the room. We bought Trip Mate Insurance from Viking River Cruises for a trip to Paris. Our flights were cancelled due to severe winter storms. We filed a claim, and it was denied (even though this was a covered claim!). We filed an appeal, wrote to the CEO of Viking River Cruises, and filed a dispute with our credit card company since we had not received the services for which we paid. Summerwinds sales people have a bad habit of telling the clients things that are untrue. Such as buying their timeshares for an investment, this is illegal. They also promise to buy back your timeshare, they won't. And during the "close" they will drop the price telling you they got this one back because someone upgraded, lie. Vacation Rentals by Owner (vrbo.com) gives the traveler access to a variety of private homes/cabins/condos for rent. If everything goes well, great. But if the traveler encounters problems, he is at the mercy of the owner to get any solution.
