*****Bookit.com charges you more for the room than they pay The Mirage. The taxes and service fees are basically service fees you are paying Bookit.com. You will still be charged a resort fee per night upon arrival. We paid $119 for our room plus $18 in tax and fees to total $137 through bookit.com but The Mirage showed that we only paid $117.00 per night plus we had to pay them $16.80 for resort fees so we really paid $153 for our room. I am an Australian Citizen living in Perth Western Australia. I have a problem regarding a refund for a cancelled booking that I had with the Impiana Resort in Phuket. We were due to fly home Sunday, 12/12/10 on the 2pm flight to Adelaide from Melbourne, was told at 1:30pm that the flight was cancelled and they "might" be able to get us home on the 9pm flight Monday night. Was offered no compensation but a refund will be issued in 3-6 weeks if we want, the answer to that was simple. This telemarketing people are scams. They offered vacation package that is actually not real. They didn't send any confirmation letters or any agreement in regards of the sale. They took the money right away from my credit card for the amount of US $499.00 and more than three weeks have passed but the merchandise or certificate of the vacation package has not been received. When I called in on a product which was advertised on TV paid programming, gave the information, and then found that they could not send to Canada, I was then put thru to a persuasive sales scheme unrelated to that product and led to believe that I had won a free trip to Florida, got swayed to purchase and then was charged on Visa and NEVER RECIEVED ANYTHING in the mail confirming anything. - just a charge to VISA. Boy talk about smooth selling people. They should be called the surprise people. They advertise a cruise that includes airfare, then they surprise you with flight tax charges plus they add airfare booking fees. Then they add more "surprises" pre/post tour package and then the pre/post tour package & pre/post meal package the above amounted to over $1000. 2 nights in a hotel for $658, wow. The sad part is that they present a LDS image then slam you with charges. I canceled within 60 days for a trip still a year away and they charged us $1200. Never and never again, don't use them. I was checking in Heathrow Airport last week. While no one from the airline I was flying with was at the desk, I was asked to check in at the Emirates Airline counter. The staff from Emirates Airlines took my details and insisted that I had to pay 200 quid for changing my flight. 11 days prior to sailing RCCL contacts our family to say that they are not going to allow our son to go on cruise because of a policy violation from a prior cruise last summer. I was at BWI Airport 12/9/10 to fly to Charlotte, NC Flight 1029. I went to the baggage check-in and this was my first time with the computer credit card screen. I said to the employee (Tom B.) 10:00 AM that I wanted to check my luggage in and he sarcastically said that is what everyone here is doing and walked away from me. I did not know what to do. In Oct 2009 we signed a contract with Destiny Vacations on behalf of Resort One Weeks for timeshare rentals and an online website to provide condos for rent. In March 2010 we are called by Resort One Weeks and told that Destiny Vacations gave us invalid contracts and that w needed to sign a new contract to get out of our annual Dues..Of course this would cost a price-$2500 - $5000 depending on what we wanted to pay. Interval World has the WORST customer service I have ever been involved in. On hold for 49 minutes first call, when they just hung up. Called back again and got the rudest employee. After a 15 minute discussion on the transfer of a timeshare from my mother to myself, the customer service agent would not let me speak to a supervisor and then hung up the phone. read full review »

They are cold calling and keep calling sometimes up to 10 times a day. I have told them to put me on the do not call list but they keep calling. When you try to call them right back number is disconnected. They hang up when you ask them for there info. After research i found out that Vacation Network And Iglobal are the same. We are not new to timeshares. However we were grossly mislead (okay I will not sugar-coat it) we were flat-out lied to during the timeshare presentation. The maintenance fee is more than double what we were told it would be. Additionally we were told that they Timeshare Parters was purchasing our existing timeshare and that at closing the deal would be a wash. The Ebook download only send you to one Agency. The whole pitch is very misleading. The Travel Agency Card(IATA) requires you to work with established host travel agency substantial cost verses small fee. Worse yet the travel industry labels this as a scam misuse of industry perks or benefits. Basically I need to become a travel agent to use this novel little card that was supposed to save me money. I stayed at the Magnuson Hotel North in Williamstown on October 9th and had a very rude employee. I wrote a letter of complaint to the hotel with a copy to the home office on October 12, 2010 (see below). To date (12/6/2010) I have had absolutely no response to the letters. I was initially asked to pay $35 per person ($70) to process the tickets. I paid, but was asked to pay another $50 to process the next step. I flew from Chicago to Munich on United, leaving on 28 November and was supposed to fly on to Berlin on the morning of the 29th on Lufthansa. When I arrived in Munich, my flight had been cancelled and the airport was chaos because of snow (perhaps 1000 people in line to change reservations). My luggage has now been missing for almost a week, and I can get no info from either the Lufthansa or the United phone lines or website. As a result of the ash cloud in april, we were stranded in Val d'isere and contacted Momentum to arrange a return trip to the uk, when the initial enquiry was made we were told that whilst the coach was not a "luxury" coach it was an "executive" coach so it would not have a toilet but would have reclining seats, arm rests, etc. What turned up can only be described as a "school bus", no recliners, no armrests, no tables and seats that were probably slightly less comfortable than public transport, certainly not... read full review »

After you have booked and paid and just before the charterperiod, you receive an email that the booked boat is not available and that they will refund the money to you.
