Firstly, I have to pay an annual levy of R4800 and because of my current financial situation, I am unable to afford these levies. In August, we flew Gulf Air from Dhaka to France and London. Often, we travel for work and we used to use Emirates and they have been very good except for on one occasion a Chinese air hostess made me miss my connecting flight telling that she would inform the airline and in fact she hadn't. On November 9, 2008, I authorized Travel Currency, Inc. to debit $3, 813.78 USD from my bank account to pay for a wire transfer to Costa Rica. I was informed by Travel Currency, Inc. that the transaction fee for the wire transfer would be $25.00 USD and that I would not be charged any other additional fees. I was invited to a timeshare meeting for receiving a free night's stay in a Holiday Inn that was so filthy that my children and I slept on top of the covers on our backs with our clothes and shoes on. Last month in July, I had an air conditioning emergency and was referred to George Saleh of Airmaster Services in Houston, who installed a new air conditioning unit for $2, 600, which I paid for in full at the time of service. We spent two free nights at this hotel over the Labor Day Weekend (2009). The lodging was free because we had suffered numerous insect bites on our previous stay there. The hotel indicated that room had fleas. We started breaking out with bites shortly after leaving to go home after staying the second night. Stay away from these folks! Our electric company offered a free gift- which was a 3 day 2 night vacation from Grand Incentives. We filled out the form, sent the $50 deposit, set our vacation date; this week we get a letter stating our vacation would only be good Sun-Wed. Never said that on the form we filled out. they advertised that their cabins had two king beds and a mountain veiw. that was not the case and when I called to get the issue resolved they were very nasty. i decided to call the BBB to see if they had other complaints. there were other complaints for false advertising and customer service as well. i would not recommend the to anyone else. i even recieved some emails from the owner that was not genuine at all she just wanted me to take my complaint back from the Chamber of Commerce. I recently checked into an Econo Lodge motel in Fort Myers FL. The room smelled like urine as soon as I opened the door, so I immediately went back to the registration office and asked for a refund. They told me the would not charge me card and gave me a receipt indicating I would be charge nothing. Two weeks later they charged my card for around $50 dollars. Purchased with this travel club on Monday, Sept 14. Tried to make a hotel reservation on Sept 15 and one week later, still no confirmation. I have been calling and speaking to the travel agent repeatedly and was assured it was taken care of on Friday and I would get an email confirmation. I was awakened at 3:30 in the morning by water dripping on me and the bed. One of the many patches in the ceiling had sprung a leak and water was dripping on to me and the bed. I bought a timershare (Worldmark by Wyndham) for $3, 000 on E-Bay from these guys. I paid through Pay Pal. I never receiveid ANYTHING from them. They only thing they have delivered in 3 months is excuses about how long escrow would take (6 to 8 weeks) on the time share; excuses about not being able to get signatures from the seller; and then excuses about how long a refund takes.
