my friend and i planed a trip to calgary for the first ever red bull x fighters in canada. doin so i reserved a room at the internation hotel in calgary for the weekend. Last weekend, my husband and I bought a tickets from Thailand to Malaysia. We were very excited about going there ang looking forward to many things. On our last day, we got to LCCT late but I was very sure that we were still 30 mins before departure. I went to Air Asia counter asked the staff to checked-in. The Hilton Best Rate Guarantee is a complete scam! Made a reservation on hilton.com for a room for $79/night Best Rate Available. Expedia was offering the same exact room, same description, same amenities, same cancellation policy, same everything during the Expedia hotel sale. cheaptickets readily took my money for a flight that had no seats. >We were left standing at the gate at midnight at LAX as the plane pulled away without us. cheaptickets offered a medley of double talk re our "riddle" ticket being confirmed, but the airline not offering "confirmed seats" at the time of sale. cheaptickets refuses to own up to the fact that they sold me tickets for which there were no seats...what good does that do us ?...if I wanted to fly standby, I would have done that from the beginning...why the H... read full review »

bought a ticket online for a friend. she went to the airport on time. Airberlin wouldn t let her on a one way fligth to Bangkok claiming ..without a visa they can not take her..I flew myself on the same day and had no troubles at all to check in with another airline. my son and a few of his friends went down to grandbend for the weekend...they rented 2 rooms..they had to put a deposit of 100 dollars for each room. when the weekend was done they asked for their deposit back. the lady at the front desk told them she didn't recieve any deposit. my son called me, and i called another mother about this scam they were trying to pull on these kids. after a few phone calls, and telling them that we were going to call the health department and the bbb, they found the deposit..we did get it back, but they pull this scam on kids all the time. read full review »

Couple obtained membership for use of RV parks through the US. Husband died in 1999 and wife tried to cancel the contract since she was no longer able to RV (in fact, the RV was sold after her husbands death. Fee continued to be deducted from her checking account until 2005, when she was advised the contact the credit union and stop the charges. The staff at Palma Real are eager to book atour or show you their vacation club. Try to complain about service and you get ignored and shown a lot of BS about protocol. Case in point. Stayed at this resort and ordered a bottle of wine. When the wine went bad we complained. The pompous manager Cesar Garcia simply told us over and over about the protocol for ordering the wine. He refused to hear us and refused to try the wine himself! Complained to the hotel manager who simply reiterated the wine ordering protocol according to Sol Melia. Got a letter in the mail today from Raintree Vacation Club of which we have been members for 6 years. They are whining about not being able to meet all the "upgrades" their members want, so they now have to charge an $820 "Special Assessment". This company is a joke. Every time we have tried to book a timeshare vacation with them we have either been unable to or have had to jump through major hurdles to do so. This company is dihonest and hostile to customers. On May 3rd, 2009 I received a phone call from Oceana Resorts. I was told that the conversation was recorded. I was offered a 3-day, 2-night stay at the Hilton in Myrtle Beach for $99.00. The requirement was that I would need to attended a 90-minute seminar at the Seaside resort which is beachfront on North Myrtle Beach. At that time, I would also be given $25.00 cash. Lufthansas information about the benefits of their "Miles and More" program is wrong. When it gets to a point where they would have to admit this, they just don't answer anymore. Any company that cares about its reputation would try to make it straight if a customer was deceived by their information. Not so Lufthansa or its "Star Alliance Partners". Hii I booked a jet airways return ticket for my wife and infant of 1.5 years through a travel agency in brampton from toronto to mumbai in 2008 which is valid for one year. At the time of booking i was told that this is the only air lines which accepts the infant under two years for initial trip and who will become over 2 years in return. I can postpone the ticket once for free and after that i have to pay $100 per adult and $10 per child for each postponing or preponing. My wife and I received 2 "free" round trip airfare tickets from Millenium Travel & Promotions. This company is playing games to rip people off. They have many rules and restrictions that intentionally make it so difficult to use, that most people will probably give up. Every summer we travel to Turkey for our summer vacation. A close family friend who works at a nearby Turkish clinic as a translator informed me that they have received an email from Fortis insurance that this insurance company will not pay more then 150 Euros for their clients treatment. Based on this email, hospitals are preparing to refuse to admit Fortis patients for treatment or ask these patients to settle thier bills personally before they leave the hospital. My grandmother gave them 800.00 for a week at one of the hotels that they are affiliated with. Being elderly and of that generation of trust she forgot to get any form of receipt and paid cash. Rocky Point travel stated that they would book her a week in Mexico and would call her in a few days.
