Terrible. That is the word that I feel compelled to use when describing my experience with Carnival. Where do I begin? When I booked the reservation, I was told that the room I was getting was eligible for an upgrade. The agent’s instructions were, that upon arrival at the port of Miami before embarkation, I was to request the upgrade. I did so, but was told that I needed to board the ship and ask inside. Hotel 71 in Chicago Il. 71 E. Wacker Dr. The hotel allowed someone who was not a guest of mine access into my room. That person proceeded to lock my guests and I out of our room. We paid Dream Vacations for a vacation package that included a 2 night cruise to the Bahamas. We also paid a port fee of $129 per person. They failed to send th port fee to the cruise line (Celebration), therefore our reservations were canceled by the cruise line. We had to pay an additional $220 per person to board the cruise ship. Orbitz doesn't provide basic customer service. You can actually get "confirmed" reservations for airline travel WITHOUT even getting a seat assignment. Their system doesn't even notify you of this. Then when you call them, you get this off shore call center with people that are incompetent and lie to you.

USA 3000 Airline is taking advantage of the swine flu outbreak in Mexico to price gouge their customers.
I had a flight to Cancun that I just wanted to change to Florida and they want to charge me a penalty of $125 per person each way which comes to a $1000 penalty just to redirect. The unfair cancellation fee is more than the ticket price which was $99 each way to Cancun. I can understand if they charged a slight fee to redirect a flight but they are being totally unfair to the American public in a time of crisis. Am I the only one that is outraged about all of the airline fees. I wanted to make a change for my wife to be on an earlier flight on the same day on a half full airplane and was told it will cost $150 to switch. We had already paid $564.98 to fly to Green Bay Wisconsin and these fees are getting out of control. Finally after yelling and screaming they finally put her on my flight!! Why does it have to resort to yelling when all they had to do is change her flight from 11:am to 6:am. Give me a break. The plane was HALF FULL!!! The group presenter was very inappropriate making several inappropriate comments: sexual, drug related, and just plain rude to people who weren't paying attention.
Presenter told us that Global Vacations Network had a A+ rating with the BBB but after doing some research I found it's actually a B- rating with several complaints. I believe 25 so far this year!!!

They promised a free gas card if I would look at the material. They billed me on 4/1/09 for postage/handling for $4.95 each ($9.90)for Journey Pass and Valu Pass. When I saw the charges on my bank statement I called the number listed. The same number was used by both companies. I told them to cancel both memberships and they only cancelled the Valu Pass. In 2004 my wife and I purchased a twenty five year commitment with the KIVC - Cancun. We were sold on the ease of renting the weeks that we were not going to use. After returning to the states we contacted one of the resellers that was provided to us by the Krystal sales reps. Back in Oct 07 I was taken in be this companies sales story. I payed first of all £609 for them to sell for us. Promised a sale in 8-10 weeks. Feb 08 we were told that our timeshare was being bought by a company called Full Circle as this was the easiest way for them to make a sale, we paid a further £965 for legal fees. This hotel billed my credit card for 3 nights instead of two. I have emailed them and faxed them on several occasions and received no response at all. I have also emailed the Malaysian Hotels Association and the Malaysian Consumers Association and received no reply from either of them.
This is a matter of Malaysian Ringgit 170 (about US$60) so I'm not going to go bankrupt over it, but I do object strongly to being ignored over a legitimate issue. read full review »

On Jan 31, 2009 there was a phone solicitation promising a great vacation. In order to get the information the consumer needed to give a charge card, but the consumer was able to cancel any time up to thirty days and the "clock" did not start until after receiving the material. I canceled the next day February 1. The company refuses to acknowledge the cancellation. I faxed, emailed, phoned, and sent all original paper work back certified mail with return receipt all within the thirty days of cancellation ntoice. I have to transit in Singapore twice a month. It's been a very very difficult time. Although the airport facilities are excellent and Singapore Airlines is truly one of the best in the world. The security officers at the airport are the worst I have EVER encountered.

In January they told me that the hotel I booked at Travelodge has been closed due to Health&Safety issues and that the Hotel they offered was the Continental Plaza I looked this hotel up and it was rated as a 1 star and didn't have the shuttles running to the Disney resort and Orland resort free. The manager, Brooks Roberts, of the Comfort Suites in Mt. Pleasant SC, is rude and insensitive. I am a breast cancer patient who came to S.C. for surgery. At the last minute I was able to find free lodging at the Hope Lodge for cancer patients.
