We just returned from a 24 experience from hell on ATA Airlines. We arrived at the Honolulu airport at 11AM on Saturday 1-5-8 to fly to LAX. Our 2PM flight was cancelled and a new flight scheduled for 145AM. We finally took off around 230AM and got to LAX at 845AM on Sunday 1-6-8. Unfortunately ATA Airlines made no arrangement for a gate. at 930 AM on Sunday morning we finally were off the plane and luggage didn't come off the baggage claim until 11 AM. We were on a stag party and arrived at this hotel to find that we were going to be required to have 8 sharing a room with only one bathroom. We were also required to pay a further £100 deposit for any damage we may cause, something that was not pointed out prior to arrival. My dear friends, I am cheated by Digital Tech Gear, Inc. I gave an order for Sony 40" (Sony KDL-40V3000/US) and the company was not accepting credit cards. They told me to use GreenDot Money Pak (which we are getting from Walmart, CVS etc). As per their e-mail I have taken for $899.99 and sent the numbers. I appled on 21st of July 2008. Airtran is the worst airline to deal with. The worst Customer Service. They have affordable flights but once you purchase they hit you with a bunch of fees or the service is the worst. I say this because I have used the airline on 3 occasion. The first time they were behind schedule and there was a delay of more than 6 hrs. All they gave was was a food vocher of 5.00 dollars to use in the airport which won't even cover a meal and a 25.00 off coupon on your next flight that expired within 3 months. July 31, 2008. Last June 30th, we flew with American Airlines to Europe. I believe it is only fair you know what we went through. We bought the tickets since February and in April, we called AA to confirm the flights and reserve our seats. When I did it, I asked to be in the first row, no problem.
