I recently booked a flight through easy jet for me and my friend for paris, we were to book it online. We got to the confirm page and confirmed my details as well as my credit card and the page froze, not sending me a confirmation email. We waited and did it again as we were keen to get the flight, again same problem. Easy jet has now taken the amount out of my credit card twice, and i am not booked on the flight. I no have to wait 28days for the money to be refunded as they have stuffed up.. What a joke... Also i now have to make a case... read full review »

Marriott's cancellation policy is the worst in the industry. They charged me the full length of a stay that I canceled on day one. It is very unfair and their policy is not to offer any credit or refund. Why bother booking with Marriott when there are so many other choices. I hate this company!!! read full review »

I bought a $2000.o0 vacation package from GVC while touring the Mayan Resort (in April, 2007). Have been trying to book a GVC vacation for months and nothing is available. The cruise certificate is a heck of a lot cheaper if you book it through the cruise company A REAL SCAM. DON'T BE FOOLED. I don't know how the company and it's sales reps sleep at night. I wrote to USAirways Customer Service in July after flying Envoy Class in broken seats to Frankfurt and back -- no leg support on either trip and pretty uncomfortable. (Envoy class was full, so there were no alternatives.) I made a reasonable request--to return the points I had used to upgrade; I don't drink when flying, the food isn't much to write about, and I upgrade only to get comfortable seats. I had my travel wallet stolen. All other travel loyalty programs were pleased to provide replacement cards to encourage my continuing use of their services, except for ASIA MILES, which required a payment of $20 or 2,000 miles to replace my card. (And unlike other programs, production of the card is necessary to claim many rewards or to earn miles.) Moreover, Asia miles expire regularly even if you are an ongoing, regular earner of the miles. This is in sharp contrast to every other loyalty program that I know of. Their anti-consumer attitude amazes me. Stay away from Asia Miles. I know I will in the future. read full review »

I DON'T RECOMMEND WORKING FOR WYNDHAM! Besides the fact that this company over sells all of it's resorts making the points you sell nearly unusable as is documented by others on this site, beware if you consider working there. Wyndham advertises on the largest job search websites but the hooks they use are so close to outright lies its impossible to discern. On 4th October 2007 i was scheduled to fly KL 1674 from Barcelona to Amsterdam and to connect with KL---that should have left Amsterdam for Nairobi at 10.15 the same evening. As fate would have it, this plane delayed due to what was explained as bad weather. We therefore arrived at Amsterdam at 10.30 pm. I stayed at Super 8 Motel in Cottonwood, AZ. I warn all visitors beware. There is a clerk from hell. I was placed in a room next door to an extremely loud guest next day. I asked for another room. I was put into a room with a broken television. I asked the clerk for another room. She said none was available and nothing could be done about the broken TV. On July 31, 2007 I had downloaded my confirmation for airline tickets I brought online from CheapOAir for a roundtrip from La Guardia, NY to Atlanta, Georgia & return flights for my Godaughter MonaLisa Carlo and her daughter Mia-Mikeal Brown. Well well apple vacations told me they would get back to me about my vacation complaint in 30 days? My vacation was in june?what year will they respond to my complaints? We paid for an ocean view and got palm trees, watered down drinks, one crowded pool, old workout equipment, expensive excursions they push and expensive massages, souvenir shop full of crappy items they can keep,a disco catering to young people, and they keep telling me theres no complaints. I signed up for a Win a Free Golf Cart, which in turn meant we had to go and listen to the company's spill for 60 min. One of their promotions were, if you hit a Hole in One, you win a free trip to the Bahama's. Well I hit the hole in one. We arrived at the hotel and were impressed by the lobby of the hotel so we assumed (we all know what happens when you assume) and were given our room keys. The halls were nice and the hotel "appeared" to be clean. Upon entering our room we were immediately met by a ghastly smell of old carpet. Because I had a class at that hotel I did not switch hotels. When I made a reservation with RiverView Lodge in Hood River, Oregon and asked for a confirmation number, I was told by a man with a heavy Middle Eastern accent that they did not give confirmation numbers but I had nothing to worry about. I asked about their cancellation policy and was told there would be no charge if I cancelled 72 hours in advance. We were enjoying a nice vacation in Puerta Vallerta w/my parents, when we were hounded endlessly by a man wanting us to sit through a 90 min. presentation at the Mayan Resort in Puerta Vallerta in exchange for $300 per couple, a bottle of tequila, breakfast, and taxi fare to and from Puerta Vallerta. I gone through the complaint written by one of them regarding Mahesh travels, belgaum. I agree with this person completely. I had a similar experience although i did not miss the bus, but the drivers and the authorities behave very rudely with the customers. They have a bad quality service. They dont know to gain customers. Such travels go bankrupt very soon. They should learn some tips from perfect service providers like VRL ot PAI. Those buses are absolutely class of service. Yesterday my husband and I attended a presentation by this Star Vacation Club/aka Vacation Resort Group. We had received a postcard sent out for them by "We-Mail-4-U", located in Mesquite, TX. This card promised us a "Free MP3 Player Just for Calling" their 800 number. Like more than 500 others, with whom we are joined together in a Yahoo group, we were scammed by this "club/hotel" in Playa del Carmen, MX. In 2005 my husband went on Priceline.com and booked and paid for a room at a Hilton Garden Inn in Carslbad, CA. I sat next to him and watched him enter everything and it all looked ok. They charged us $129.00 per room per night (3 nights) for two rooms ( one for his parents) , a total of $774. I was supposed to fly round trip with Central Wings, a discount subsidiary of LOT, the Polish national airline, from Edinburgh, Scotland to Warsaw, Poland. My brother and I were staying at the Longbeach Marriott few weekends ago and someone broke into our hotel room and stole our belongings... The hotel is not taking responsibility! Spent night sleeping on floor of airport along with other passengers. My wife has Multiple Scerlosis and was told that she can not come into the Disney Theme Parks after we purchased our disney vacation package, with her Segway which she has a medical prescription to have and absolutely needs to get around. She is 33 years old and they told her she will need to use a wheelchair or electric cart, which they do not provide without extra charge. I was flying with Emirates from Mumbai to Dubai and Dubai to Manchester on the 20/09/2007. However from Manchester I had a connecting flight to Isle Of Man on Flybee. I have already lodged a complaint at the Isle Of Man airport for missing baggage. It has been 4 days now and I have not heard from them. When I called them, they informed me that they have not yet received the baggage and requested me to call Emirates. When I called Emirates they said that they cannot help me, as the last flight was on Flybee. This is ridiculous that none of the Airlines could help me. I too have problems with the Kenmore Elite Trio Refrig. Mine has a bad fan motor. I have had the refrig. for two years, while under maintenance agreement having the same trouble getting the appliance serviced another person. Another site has notices concerning the fan motor and this appliance. Seems to be a common problem also the ability to get Sears to show for repair is a big issue. Simply put i booked tickets first class through orbitz. Had to cancel then within a two week period and was told they are non refundable. And if i wanted to i would have to contact american airlines to see if they would credit them. Firstly as i said booked them first class. And i know from first hand experience that if you book first class and cant use the ticket it will be refunded. So why do i complain. I booked Swosti Plaza (4 Start) hotel in Gopalpur, Orissa for my vacation in last summer. The room charge for AC Deluxe room was Rs. 2250/- per night. Whereas the average room tariff for other start hotels in that tourist spot is @ Rs. 1000/-. I agreed to pay that much just because I expected good (clean) rooms with other moderate facilities. I joined because they stated that I would get time resort apartments with full amenities.
