I signed up for Google Fortune with the understanding that it would only cost $1.97. About a year ago I received a letter like my husband did today. They are scams. I did a research on the computer and found out the people who cashed these checks would be arrested. I called my local post office and turned it in. Today the only thing I could find out was actually typing in the name on the check KEY TECHNOLOGY and a scam note came up. The letters we received both came from Canada with and England office. If you receive these letters turn them into the post office or local authority.
