On 15th March a transaction was complete through my PayPal account for £53.66 following my ordering of a laptop battery from Battery Trader. I have yet to receive the battery I ordered or any other indication that there might be a problem with my order. I have sent several messages requesting details but have received no reply. Looking at similar stories here this appear not to be an isolated incident. Is this site simply a scam? Has anyone received their goods from this trader? I ordered the hats/necklace in an amount to receive a free gift. I had trouble accessing the web site it took along time and jumped in and out a couple of times. A notice came up that they would report the problem to their tech's. I was told that I placed a two orders for the same items. I tried to cancel they said they cant do that and I should send one of the orders back with the proper papers enclosed. I had to pay shipping of 7.95 to receive the second order and also had to pay shipping of 7.95 to return the unwanted order. So I payed 15.90 additional for my free gift. I ordered 2 Samsung fax toners and money was taken from my account on 30/3/09. Throughout the month of April, I constantly emailed and phoned and was told delivery would be in the next couple of days. On one occasion I was told I couldn't speak to the Manager because he "was in a bad mood" - how is that for customer service. I too, unfortunately, fell for the two pounds of coffee for $5 each and free mugs and insulated mugs. I recieved the coffee--whole beans instead of ground. Upon checking my checking account, I come to find out there was a withdrawal that I did not make. The bank has no idea who it is either. I went here to study hair extensions, the teacher was good. But I am still chasing the school for my KIT which I paid 2 grand for.
