mrculpepper
kurmugn January 23, 2009
I placed an order with mrculpepper in December, 2008. My bank account was charged, but I never received the parts that I ordered. My phone calls and emails go unanswered, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce says that there is no business by that name at the address shown on www.mrculpepper.com. A search on the internet reveals that a huge amount of people have been ripped off by this bogus scam! I have reported this to the Federal Trade Commission and the Golden Gate Better Business Bureau. read full review »

Procera AHV
D.D. N. January 23, 2009
After reading about their product, I went to this web site for further information. According to their site, the product was $39.95, plus shipping, per bottle and supposed to include several free products -- another month of Procera AHV, an antioxidant formula and a book. I filled in the information only to find they were going to charge over $132.00 to my Visa. I backed everything out and left the page. I did not complete the order. However, in less than 2 minutes, they sent an email confirming the sale and charge to my card. I called... read full review »

Foodsaver
DonnyC January 23, 2009
I answered a promotional email for a brand new foodsaver, and decided to order it. They said that there would be shipping charges of 26.00 if order was under $100.00. Since my order for the unit came to 174.00 I felt safe in ordering the product. They offered a 3 payment plan which I chose, and upon checkout the first payment actually came below the 100.00 minimum. I noticed the shipping charges after I submitted my I tried unsuccessfully to cancel my order, or to add to my order to bring the total above $1oo.oo and was not able to. ... read full review »

I have been with Readers Digest for a few years now, and one thing I am sick of is the false advertisements. This year I renewed my subscription and found today with my magazine a card that said to go to www.rd.ca/gps . It stated that RD was giving away 3 brand new Sony GPS devices in an exclusive draw and were invited for a free chance to enter and enter an access code. It also states that complete contest rules are available on website. I thought this company was a reputable one, but now I am going to cancel my subscription because I am not impressed at all. read full review »

Stay Away from International Pharmacy Network.com... they are one of the worst sites I have dealt with. They will not deliver your paid product, they will threaten you when you try to get resolution to getting your merchandise or a refund. The besy thing to do is NEVER order from them. They claim to 309 websites which is a lie. There is NO possible way they would be that successful and act like prison criminals when you try to find out if you have been scammed. They will lie and lie to you to waste time before they shut down their site. If you have ordered from them the best thing to do is get your money back from VISA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE read full review »

Unauthorized $14.95 monthly charge from Blair showed up on our Mastercard for 6 months before we caught it. Look out! If you sign up for your 'free' Grant Writing Express CD, you are also agreeing to paying $54.96 / month, once your first 'free' month is over. That information is in small type near the end of the pages. I did not see it. When I discovered the charge, I phoned to complain. The best I could get was a 50% refund. Robert January 21, 2009
This company offers 'free' trial. Then bills your credit card without further notice and continues year after year without notice. When you catch them and cancel they do not offer a refund. Many have written that the renewal 'reminder' was not sent but the renewal was processed anyway. The company is well aware of their unethical practice and continues unabated. Any business that recognizes a problem and continues with disdain knows exactly what it is doing. This is defacto intent to defraud. read full review »
