on Wednesday(11March 2008), I asked Virgin to fax me a copy of the timetable for a studio class.I attended the Step 1 Beginner class only for the instructor to deal personally only with his regulars as it was a intermediate class.Six of us walked out and i Complained by Lee Anne on duty and she said it would be sorted out.To date i have not heard a word from anyone.I had a caesar with my last baby and cannot for health reasons do a heavy class.What now...I pay my membership and get this pathetic service. read full review »

on the 10th March 2009i was called to come and collect vouchers from this gym, since they were running a promotion. next thing they made me sign a membership form saying a won some sort of a deal. Now i called them today 13th March 2009, telling them that i will not be able to afford their fees, and that i want to cancel the membership they are telling me it's a binding contract. Have just received an advice from Nedbank informing me of a reduction in interest rates of 1% on a home loan. This was expected as the SA Resrve bank reduced their prime lending rate recently. However, when comparing the monthly administration charge of R39.90, mentioned therein, with the previous advice of 15.12.08, which was only R17.10, I am astounded to note that this is an increase of 233%. And that is after receiving a brochure from the bank recently stating "Great valusebanking, simplified" and "Pricing it right for you". 3 days later I had returned it as the product was not to my satisfaction.
I was assured that the funds would be credited back to my credit card but it has been over +- 2years that it has not been credited.

Bought the Milex steam iron system.The heater element fused.Homemark refuses to sell me a new element, we have to send the complete machine to some agent who in turn sends the machine to their repair department.It took the agent one week just to send an email to find out if such a part exists-phone call would have been faster.It seems like a money making racket by wanting the complete machine so they can charge for the labour.Please beware before buying any homemark machine-problems begin when something goes faulty. read full review »

Defy eye-level oven
My oven was bought by the builder it is 2 years old. I accidently bumped the oven door with a glass lid - the lid did not break, but the glass in the oven door shattered. I called Defy and was told by a technician the the glass shattered because it is safety glass. He refused to discuss the possibility that there may be a fault in the door since it is very unusual for an oven door to break that easily. He put the phone down when I challenged him. Last (2008) year I made an mistake by logging on to the internet banking website and accidentally reducing my overdraft facility by almost R6000. Needless to say, this put me in a very bad Financial predicament. I contact Standard bank, and after a long battle they have agreed to re-instate my overdraft to what it was on condition that they will reduce it by R1500/month until I have reached R3500 overdraft. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be registered with the NHBR.
