I bought a Nissan Sentra w/6 miles on it in June 2008. Transmission went out on this car July 12, 2009. I had to pay for the towing of this vehicle to get it worked on. Then it took at least 2 transmissions from the factory to get one that was not defective. Bottom line I had to even pay for the rental car for all of this time. $2488.00 out of my pocket. I have recently had a horrifying experience with XM Satellite Radio. My husband and I recently purchased a 2004 certified GMC truck. This truck came with a free 3 month trial subscription for XM Radio. Asked Liquid Wrenches to install Tower Speakers. They were installed incorrectly. Took one year to resolve. Asked Liquid Wrenches to grease wheel bearings. They replaced all four...without authorization. $1200. Picked up the boat and drove 200 miles to Tahoe. When I arrived, two wheels were 'steaming' hot. Pinnacle Security sold me a home security system with a promotional offer through Value Buzz Saving Club which is a gas and grocery rebate program. This program was suppose to pay for my monthly alarm system for 2 years out of my 39 month contract. I got my Verizon phone bill this month with an additional $14.95 on it for a voicemail service by Fone Right Inc which I never ordered. I called Verizon service and their records from Fone Right said I ordered it. Even used my name (spelled incorrectly) and Verizon accepted it! I was able to get Fone Right's phone number and I asked them who authorized the order and they hung up on me. I brought 4 of my cats to this shelter because I could no longer keep them. I was trying to find people to adopt them and I had at least 4 people call in and say they were going to go and adopt them and 6 days after I brought them in they were uthenized. They have had cats there since January and I brought my cats in August and they were dead after 6 days. All I can say is never bring your dogs or cats here. Try and find a non kill shelter. I've taken my Honda Accord to Midas #504 (Cincinnati, OH-Glenway Ave) 4 times in the last 6 weeks for the exact same problem. The car would turn over but not start. The first visit they replaced the fuel pump because I was told the fuel pump wasn't getting enough fuel. I've since spoken with a Honda dealership and was informed if a Honda is losing fuel pressure, the main relay (much cheaper to replace than the fuel pump) is most likely the problem. This is a very unsafe location. The crime in this complex is out of control with over 250 police calls to this location since the beginning of the year. The manager onsite says that she is not aware of any crime problems but when showed the list of police calls admitted to having the same list.
