Approximately 2 months ago, the city dug in our front yard putting in a large cylinder and preparing to install new lights on our street. After paying off the balance on my credit card with this company, I sent them a formal letter requesting they close my account and notify the credit bureaus that my account was closed. I also requested they send me written confirmation of this action. They have not responded and I am sending them a second notice requiring their compliance. They have also sent me a notice of their new rewards program for using my card. I bought a laptop from Everex, 'the alternate pc company', and only a year after purchasing it, conveniently for the company right when the 1 year warranty is up, it completely stops working the way it is supposed to. I received a letter stating I owed $81.99 for a bill from 1997 from AT&T broadband. They were willing to settle for $41.00. Imagine my surprise! All of our bills have always been under my husbands name. I did some research and found this site. I am glad I did. I wrote CBCS a letter telling them this was fraud at my expense, and would not tolerate it. We bought 2 chairs and a couch from Braden's. The chairs were chosen from a photo and a "similar" piece was shown to us on the showroom floor. Upon delivery, they were not the same at all. They'd only do an exchange, not give a cash refund, even though we they mislead us. When we got the couch, it very poorly constructed. Well I was a first a little excited to get Nations Fence to install a fence for me but shortly after realized that their service and customer loyalty rates about a 2/10 on my scale. I bought a Western General Warranty on a 2001 BMW 525i. Warranty is good for 3 years or 36 months, whichever occurs first. They towed my car from in front of my house claiming that my car was abandoned. The car is not I drive it every day my car is registered to the my home which is were the car was parked.
