I special ordered a sofa and loveseat from Lazeboy last August, 2007. I finally received everything I ordered in November, 2007. When the order arrived I was stunned to see that the napped fabric I special ordered was put on the furniture in different directions, making the sofa and loveseat have a light and dark effect. I paid 12, 000.00 dollars to this company for them to fly a couple guys out to california where I live to show me how to find property to wholesale a so called buyers list the company set up for me. It was a 4 day mentorship program and at the end of 4 days they assured me that I would have a house under contract even though I told them I had fears that southern cal is a different beast than most parts of the country market wise.. Called for yearly maintenance service for heat pump. Customer service person told me that I had 2 free maintenance services before 12/08. We set up an appointment and she told me they could set a date, but could only say the hours between 8 and 5 PM. I told her I had to be at work at noon and would like them to come in the morning. I ordered furniture, was told it would be delivered in 2 to 3 weeks...I will be lucky to have it in double that. I found the same furntire elsewhere for less...I had to prepay for the furniture, yet they broke their end of the contract and don't want to refund my money. I advise others not to buy at Ashley. Beware of their policies...you prepay for the furniture, they do not deliver on time...IF you have a problem with the furniture, no matter what, after you accept it...it is in the contract that YOU must return the furntiure to the store...they will not pick it up unless you pay to return it. WE 1st ordered the onion blossom, it was cold, & under cooked, it fell apart when you tried to take a piece & the onion was raw towards the middle. Our steaks weren't cooked the way we wanted them & were also cold the Broccoli was raw & cold, as far as "loaded" mashed potatoes, well lets just say they were sad. I was completing a survey and of course it automatically goes into ordering samples. Well, I thought I was receiving samples, which I did, 2 little packets of cream (similar to BenGay). LA Fitness has a very nice gym. However, the staff is completly imcompetent. Three seperate times I notified management regarding saftey issues with their cleaning people. They like to use vacums, that are really used for vacuming corners and cracks, but they are using it to do the whole gym floor. Durning 6-8 am, which most gym goers hit that time frame. And they have no problem vacuming under your bench when lifting extremly heavy weights. The male trainers are outside having private conversations with women next to their cars. Hughes has sunk to a new low in service. They were upgrading the email this weekend. It turned into a downgrade. I have made several attempts to contact Clear Wire to cnacell service and even after returning my modems I still have been unable to cancell. It took numerous phone call for Clear wire to acknowlege they had made a mistake in recorded serial numbers and toll me the problem was resolved. Not.
