I do not have all the information about the above scam artists. I ordered a bottle of colon cleanse for shipping and handling charge of 3.99. Store #4438 has been carrying a white popcorn in a bag thats to be popped on the stove.However recently for some reason they've stopped, and are now selling a popcorn named Black Jewel, so I bought it even though it's almost twice as much money, and it not only is not as good it does not all pop, leaving alot of unpoppped kernels. This branch of safegurad storage increases their monthly rate by $16, and claim is written in the contract. They increase this amount after the first month of renting a unit. and I repeat its no where in the contract writeen that they will increase 16 dollars. Read similar complaints on this site about their cancelation scam. They billed me for 6 months after I sent cancelation form, and battled with the credit card company because they continued to pay them each month. Their "headquarters" in Toms River would tell me they never received my cancelation form, and because I could not prove I mailed it, they would not refund me for their continued billing. In Mar 2006 we purchased a Simmons Beautyrest mattress, having had nothing but praise for the one we have in our guest room (an earlier model). We picked a plush top Kaitlyn ($900 plus tax) and have had nothing but problems with it. It developed craters where my husband and I lay, even though we turned the mattress as instructed. In November & December of 2007 I ordered merchandise online from Best Buy.com. I found better merchandise @ a cheaper price. When UPS pulled into my driveway told him to take it back. I refused all merchandise from Best Buy. Now they are charging me a $20 restocking fee and worse they have put finance charges on top of this. I purchased an Asko dryer from Bray and Scarff in 2003 along with the extended service policy. In Janaury 2008 I called them to repair the dryer. I bought a 2006 Kia from them and I did love the love the sportage but they told me it had air and showed me how to work it, turned out that it just blew cold air because it was cold outside. They said they would fix it and put air in it but that never happen, finally said it couldn't be done and would trade it for anoter car same price went there then said they couldn't do that either. My interest rate has been increased to 27.99% because of errors that occurred when the post office decided to reroute my mail back to my old address. I made the payment and it arrived to them 2 days late, so they decided to increase the interest rate. I saw the Frontline show on how these credit card companies want you to fail in your payments to them. It gets even better, I was paying one month in advance and they didn't even recognize my payments that I was making. This company has from the very beginning ripped us off. We receive fees and penalties when they are not due. We have interest charges that are so high, we could better afford a much bigger house with someone else. Our other complaints are that there is no way to even talk to anyone about our problems.
