Purchased a Kohler toilet and sink last year. The toilet is K-4609-AA, 1.6 GPL. From the beginning every approximately two weeks to a month, when we flushed, the commode would not empty. We have had plumbers out a number of times and they replaced all the flushing mechanisms and rotor routed everything. When the commode backs up, everything else drains. The last two plumbers told me the problem was in the unit itself. I was called at home and told I was chosen for a reservation for a travel package to Florida. I was told I had 15 days to decide if It was what I wanted. I received the dvd 2 weeks and some days later to review. I found out the whole deal was for purchasing time-sharing! Time-sharing was never mentioned to me at all until then. I sent in for a "free sample" to be mailed to me of their Green Tea product and did not order further product, yet I received a bottle of Green Tea in the mail and a bill for $44.90. To return it, I will be charged a 15% restocking fee and shipping charges. We called Comcast to find out where we could buy the phone modem so we could stop paying 3.00 a month to rent it and what we found out was really irritating. They told me that the phone modem cannot be purchased by the public that we have to have it for the phone service so we have to pay the 3.00 a month to rent it. Another bogus charge from a rogue vendor calling themselves Norton.com/CS CA. 02/16/08 $42.39 on my card. I immediately contacted my card company and put this charge in dispute. I use Norton on my computer and purchased 3 years coverage from (Symantec), the real Norton, last time it was due via download. I hope these clowns are found out and caught. I called to cancel my order in Dec. '07. I received another package in February and immediately called to notify of their mistake. I returned the package and was still charged shipping and handling. I purchased a 2000 Saab 9-3 from Ray and Eric on 3/8/2008, I didn't drive it until 3/10/2008 due to the dealership not having and inspection sticker on the car. On 3/11/2008 the car breaks down on me. And I had it towed to a mechanic, at this time, i was told that the v-belt had snapped on the car and that the pulley was broken. This contractor attempts to go outside your written contract for more pay with "add ons" not contained within your contract. These "add ons" include: changing the labor rate, adding an additional $150 for the first man hour onsite, additional billing for travel time to procure supplies and materials purchased (when they were provided), travel time for two workers at $75/hour to and from a warehouse that doesn't exist! I just had a really bad experience with Remington's "All That" hair dryer. I purchased one a while back and it worked really good for a few months before it suddenly blew up on me. I filled out a survey on women in business, at the end of the survey they asked if I'd like a free packet, that I would just have to pay postage on. I paid the postage. Later I get a $39.95 charge on my credit card bill that came 30 days or more later. A lady from our job was passing around a book for her daycare full of items. Many of the staff members order several things from this book including myself in January, well needless to say we have yet to receive the items and yet all are money has been taken and deposited. When I bought a used car, 2002 Honda Civic EX, in May of 2007 from Gurley Leep Automotive they informed me that I would not need to have my timing belt replaced even though the car had over 100, 000 miles.
