I live in Battle Creek Michigan and have a summer place in Cheboygan Michigan. In October I always have a plumber come out and drain my water so I make sure its done right. We filed a "sample" application for a car that was supposed to refund us $11000 as per award coupon from Popular Ford. I attempted to help a friend reimage a Compaq Presario 6330 - a good machine, the problem was that HP service is now in India for many machines - and although I am a patient person, I got the run around 3 times and now I find that HP no longer carries the recovery disks! Even I as an IT person understand the challenge - yet I do not give up! I think you are all misguided here. Everything is disclosed as per banking rules. i worked with them...they did a wonderful job. Yes! i have a pre-pay...but do i plan to sell in the next 3 years? if i did i would have not signed nor agree with it. I have been in a 12 week nightmare. At the beginning of August, I purchased a dining room suite (table, 6 chairs, buffet and hutch). I was told that delivery would be 3-8 weeks. At the time, I was fine with that as Thanksgiving was almost 2 months from the worst-case scenario. My room mate purchased SharePro 360 so that we could download music for our I-pods. Every time we try to get onto the program, we get an irritating message that the program can't run because of "GNUTELLA" . The only way to shut it down is by completely shutting down the computer. The message comes up even when we have closed out of the program. IT SUCKS!!! At this point I don't think we'll be able to retrieve the songs we did manage to get. I'm out over $3000 dollars from the people at sleekspaces.com aka Gately's. They have taken my money and have no intention of ever giving it back. It's outrageous. They are now apparently "heading for the hills". I prepaid for treatments with Advanced Laser Clinics. When it was purchased by American Laser Clinics, American refuses to honor any of the pre-paid treatments from previous clients. They also refuse to return medical records. Since they purchased the Advanced Laser Treatments, they absorb the obligations of the company. Do not use American Laser Treatment. I ordered a baked potato and some other food,I was eating it and when I turned the skin over there was a bug that had been roasted with the potato you could see the legs and the antennas. I showed the manager and he said he couldnt be sure if it was a bug. I asked him if he could be sure that it wasn't and he said no and then he gave me 1.20 to cover the cost . and that was it.......I did not cause a scene in front of all the other customers, but I could have especially after the way I was treated. So this company called me after a day that I quit, I told the sales rep I used to work there. She read me the entire script so I went along with it, offering me a free diamond watch 3 free magazines just for helping with the delivery of 1 at 3.84 a week. So she transfered me to her supervisor (which is the the closer). The closer remembered who I was so he hung up. I signed up for a free credit report through Freecreditreport.com. Then the charges began to roll in at $12.95 every month. I requested a cancellation of my account that apparently fell on deaf ears. After 3 months of charges, I eventually had to escalate my request via phone to a supervisor. The number called was 8774816825. The hold was lengthy, but well worth it. In June of 2007 GMAC sold the mortgage on a vacation home I own to ASC. Since then they have harassed me daily with letters and phone calls saying I am delinquit on my loan. The problem is I have never even made a payment late. I have talked to 8 or 9 different people trying to get this straightened out. Now they have reported me 30 days late to the credit bureau affecting my good credit. No amount of calls or faxes gets a response. These people are beyond incompetent, they are down right crooks.
