This company is so deceptive in it marketing with a hospitalization policy so deficent that I cannot understand why the regulators that be would allow them to do business. I took 2 items in to be altered When I went to pick them up, this place only takes CASH! But they don't tell you that (and don't have a sign posted or that info on your claim ticket) until you pick up the item up. I had to go back a second time-waste of gas. On 03/17/2006, I prepaid 3828.00 towards a 10, 360.00 implant bill. I spoke with a friend of a friend who advised me that I should go to a reputable dentist and not Vitaldent. I really didn't understand why, but in any case, of the 3828.00 paid to them, they provided only 1240.00 worth of services before I decided to find another dentist specializing in implants. I put a wedding ring on Layaway for my girlfriend to propose in Puerto Rico. I went to pay off the rest of the ring the week before we left and they informed me that I would be recieving a refund check for the ring and the ring was sent back to Corporate Headquarters. People from this company have been calling my house wanting to speak with someone I don't even know. They make no secret of the fact they are a collection agency and are calling to try to settle a debt. I have spoken with some of their collectors on three different occasions now, and have told them each time that the person they are trying to reach is not at this number.
