My friend bought a classic car from Future Classics and was told by the owner, Nick DeMartino that the engine was just rebuilt 3000 miles ago. We have used Peachtree for about 5 years. We stated out with the usual 90 FREE technical support, but getting a tech support person was IMPOSSIBLE!! After the 90 FREE support, I assumed the wait would be shorter, but it has not been. I deposited $59k in the Emirates Bank in Dubai. The money was stolen out of my account using a forged signature. The bank has 1. Refused to honour its obligation and refund me the money. 2. Refused to provide copies of the documents used to steal my money and 3. No senior member of the bank staff has ever bothered to contact me. Dubai has no banking ombudsman. I wrote to the central bank and they have not even bothered to answer my letter. I was having some problem with my E51 handset so i went to Nokia customer care in gurgaon (sector 14). Instead of focusing on the problem they were more interested in selling the extended warranty. The website indicated that shipping and handling would be $7.95 - it asked for name, address, and credit card number and then never disclosed that S&H would actually be $15.90 until the order had already been placed. I got an really good estimate from NY to Cali for $1500 less than the closest competitor. So trying to save some money I decided to do business with them. BIG MISTAKE! My phone was stolen 10/13/09, I filed a police report and reported it to Asurion. On the 10/21/09 when I went to pay the $85 charge to replace my phone I was told that since my phone service had been disconnected that day I no longer had insurance. Advanta Business Cards is offering a 0% fee for new cards for 1 year with a supposedly fixed rate of 7.9% from there on. This is bait and switch scam! I applied for the card several years ago and several months ago the rate went up to 15%. I paid off the balance and continued to use the card paying it off on time to avoid the interest. ILD Teleservices, Inc. added charges $31.99 to my AT&T phone bill last month. I called AT&T and was asked to call ILD direct.
