In 2009 i baught a 2004 chrysler sebring from carmax. Sice iv had it carmax has spent over $10, 000 in repairs on my warranty.Its been in the shop 3 times in the last three weeks, I have begged them to get me out of it. I got a loan with Americredit back in 2005 on a 2004 truck.The interest was at 17% very high at the time. I have made every payment on time, have never missed a month.I called them in Nov. of 2010 to see if they could help me by lowering the interest rate since I haven't missed any payments and have been on time every month.The truck will be paid off in 1 1/2 years. Their reply was we don't have a plan in place to help people lower their interest rate even if they have been a good customer. I just purchased an 03 F250 7.3 diesel last week Feb 3 2011. Love the truck but has a bad fuel tank sending unit and throttle pedal. Plus leaking fuel at the fuel filter housing. I drove back to dealer and explained but they insisted this is not their problem and the best they would do is to offer free labor and I purchase the parts. I paid 26K for this truck last week and they will not make good on this. After receiving (late) a "rebuilt" transmission from J.R. at Toms River Transmissions the real problems began. First off, don't be as stupid as I was and pay via check in advance as J.R. requires. They won't accept a credit card, (where you can dispute charges for defective products), and now I know why. The gas pump was not working properly at all. It took me literatly 20 minutes to fill up my tank, because of the poor amount of gas coming out of the house. Ok I thought I could deal with that... But when the tank was finally full it started dripping all over my shoes, because the damn house didn't stop. Two days ago I called the Glass Doctor set up appointment at my home for Saturday to repair cracks in my windshield for 9am. It is now 12:53 and still waiting. Called several times, they said had some glass emergencies and put them before my appointment. I had to call them. They promised 10am, 11, 12 etc... and I am still waiting. Do NOT rent a car from Thrify at the Frankfurt Airport. They send you a company called Terstappen, which will triple your rates. They will not accept VISA or Mastercard for CDW. They charge your credit card 600 Euros for a 'damage waiver' and do not refund it. We were quoted less than $200 on the Thrifty website for a two-week van rental. Total credit card charges came to over $1700. I am not kidding. We are fighting it, but every time we get the charges removed by Visa, Terstappen charges them all over again. Best Auto Shipper was the company I set up my quote through - bestautoshipper.com - they had a decent rate. They then contracted my automobile to be shipped by Bryants Towing, by Wendell Bryant 313-477-4888. He was picking the car up from St. Louis and driving it to Michigan. After hiring 1 car (BMW) almost every month for three years and several others at various times as well Europcar has seen fit to send an account for 400.00 NOK to a Credit Company because they could not get the money from the card that I registered with them three months after I returned the car. In the last year alone I paid Europcar Oslo over 75, 000.00 NOK!!! I have repeatedly requested that I get air miles credited to my SAS account, to date I have not received one single credit. My Jeep was delivered to TOTAS by the body shop working on repairs sustained in an accident. It was driven by the owner of Beacon Autobody (out of business) to TOTAS. The owner of Beacon requested the axle be repaired and the requested repair was completed by the mechanic at TOTAS. They performed the classic bait and switch with the cost, quality and service. Originally was supose to cost $1495 for complete rebuild. Final cost $2500, plus another $400 in costs after the improper work was done. My engine had 255, 000 miles and ran perfect. The owner stated that the repairs would be done just as if the car went to Jaguar dealership. 2008 Odyssey does not have the cut off to save the battery equiped in this van. The kids leave the dome lights on mostly and the van would not start the next morning. Honda Canada has no solution for this. As you would see other vehicle manufacturer cuts off the lights after 15 minutes of having the lights left ON. What a response that system responds to user need?. Or may be the understanding of the engineers that they cannot design the cutoff to save the battery enough to crank the engine as priority. This went on for 6 tries and afterwards I have found out that they put a hold on my checking account for each time.
