Around 8 PM on 22 Oct I turned into left into Rivonia Rd heading into Sunninghill from Witkoppen Rd. I noticed a bakkie right behind my car leaving no breaking distance. Next thing I know the bakkie was overtaking me going over solid lines and an island in the middle of the road marked with yellow lines. The bakkie then sped off going way over the speed limit.
This was an extremely reckless stunt and could have resulted in a bad accident. I noticed the bakkie was branded with the name Hebco. Not only was this really dumb but it says a lot about the lack of respect that this Hebco employee has for his company. read full review »

In September my electronic handbrakes warning light came on. Checking the handbook I took the vehicle in for repair. The manager told me it is not necessary to repair it now because in a 1000 km it is due for 60000 km service. On the 11th of October I went into a shop to by bread. on my return I started the engine and tried to drive away. To my suprise the electronic handbrake was locked. I am the original owner of 2004 530i BMW and haved followed all maintenence requirements. On 7/7/10, took my car in for routine oil service (54, 777 miles) at Encinitas BMW. Within 2 weeks post service, the engine overheated and check engine light came on. Took it to an independent BMW specialist and they said the radiator was empty. Main complaint = charged for toll fees that I did not incur. I travel to Denver 5-6 times a year. I do not travel on I470, not on any toll exits. Nice try Advantage. You lost a customer for $13.00 Vs my annual car rental expense of $2K.
Secondary complaint - too much pressure to upgrade with very little value. Even the hybrid that I upgraded to was only a break even deal for me, and I drove about 700 miles.

They started a policy where they do not accept phone calls from policy owner or repair facility. They will only communicate by e-mail or fax, but they will not call to verify information. First of all, they claim to be accredited by the BBB right on their business card, but they are not. In fact if you do have a claim to file, they don't even bother to respond. They are out to rip you off.

March ‘10 we purchased a 2006, Gulf Stream Ultra C from RV Metro. We traded in our 2006 Weekend Warrior which was written into the contract as RV Metro was to pay off the remaining loan. I ordered a used engine for a 96 Geo Tracker that was supposed to have approximately 50, 000 miles on it for over $1000.00. Upon arrival the engine was in terrible condition and unusable. I was told by Comstock that I could not expect a refund unless I installed and tried to crank this engine so I had my mechanic install it and then pull it out when it would absolutely not crank (it was siezed and locked up). My Volkswagen Touran's front shocks was replaced by Speedy Brits. A few days later, a noise came from front wheel area and sseing it was not a flat tyre, I drove slowly home and took the car the next day to the nearest Wheel Centre. When they removed the wheel, the centre bolt just fell out! The wheel bearing was broken in the process and my car got towed in to Speedy Brits for repair. First Road Emergency
Per instruction from VW SA my car was towed to Lindsy Saker Midrand and damaged on delivery. I was not present, but noticed the damage when I arrived the next day to collect my vehicle.
Damage was done to the front spoiler; this clearly happened as they offloaded the vehicle. Allan (services manager) then instructed the technician to note it on the damage sheet so that it could be taken up with First Road.
After following up with VW no one is willing to own up. VW SA even sent me a nice letter telling me to go to hell.

I ordered a dash and airbags from Lee. but only received the airbags, He then offered a refund at less than half of cost of dash. The lights I ordered are missing the insides and are useless. The electronic gearlever is rusted and controlbox does not work. Lee refuses to accept returned items nor does he refund the monies paid. I've got a 2008 Lincoln Navigator which we bought new. It now has 30, 000 miles on it. The A/C went out in July. In early August, we took it in to get repaired. It's under warranty.
However the part they needed doesn't exist. It won't be available until September 28th.This was confirmed by other Lincoln and Ford dealers.
$60K Vehicle + Bad A/C + Bad Parts = a thoroughly PO'd customer.
August and early September were extremely hot.

I purchased a 2004 Ford F-350 from autoville on Fulton ave. I paid $21, 000.00 cash for this truck and 3 days later water starting pouring out of the tail pipe from the radiator, causing the truck to over heat! This is a 6.0 diesel with around 100, 000 thousand miles on it. This truck should go 300, 000 +.
When I brought the truck back, they showed me the door? I later found out that this truck was advertised on the internet for $19, 000.00?

I have been with this company since 1999 claims free. I made a claim this July 2010 first one ever, it was for vandalism of my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4.
The entire driver side was scratched from front to back and very deep, the grill was smashed, the gauges broken, the signal arm broken right off, the leather driver’s seat stabbed, the tail gate was scratched, there was a substantial amount of damage.

In June 2009 I purchased a new scooter and paid cash. I also paid the tax and license fees when I purchased it and the agreement was I would receive the license plate, registration and title in the mail but never did. I have left messages for the company and have not recieved a call back. Now the phone numbers listed are disconnected. Now I have to go to the DMV and try to get it all fixed and probably have to pay more fees. I ordered a used replacement axle for my 2003 Mercedes Benz, confirmed via fax, 6 emails and 4 phone calls what part I needed.
The invoice said it would fit, but the part was mis-marked and did not fit. It was too large on one end by several thousandths. When I called for refund, they agreed for a 100% refund AFTER I paid to ship it back. I said why should I pay for shipping when the wrong part held up my repair at the auto shop AND tied up the mechanics rack for a day, causing me additional delays and expenses.
