Went to buy gas for first time at this station. After the 5th time of pump asking me to see attendant (late for work at this point) and being told I was all set. I gingerly (not abusely) hit the button 3x to make sure. Owner came out and started yelling at me not to hit his pump - I told him I would appreciate it if he didn't waste my time and make me late for work. He then told me I wasn't welcome and took the pump from my hand and told me my credit card was no good and I would have to go in AGAIN to pay. Credit card was good, he... read full review »

My son went into their finance department to refinance his car into his name, since it is under both our names now. The application was processed, accepted and contract issued, signed by Raymond Chevrolet Finance manager. First payment to be due in 45 days. 4 weeks go by and I get a call from GMAC stating payment was past due and that there was no record or Raymond Chevy having done the refinance. My son called the Finance dept and was told the loan did not go through and that someone should of called him 3 weeks ago to let him know, that... read full review »

Phoenix Hardparts aka Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions aka Redline Torque Converters
October 17, 2008
On 9/8/2008 I called Phoenix Remanufactured Transmission and spoke with Alex. I was looking for a replacement transfer case for my 2001 Chrysler Town & Country. Alex on the phone persuaded me to also buy a transmission with the transfer case. He insisted as an expert in car repairs that I must change both parts together and also promised that I would receive the parts within two weeks the most. I agreed on the price of $1, 563.00 for both parts and I send them a fax stating the parts that we agreed on and sign for my credit card... read full review »

Fletcher Tire & Auto Service
October 16, 2008
Fletcher's grossly over charges for their service. I took my 1998 KIA Sportage in for repair. After a simple computer "diag" which cost $90.00 it was determined that the "crank shaft position sensor" (CSPS) needed replacing. Fletcher's charged me $147.00 for the after market CSPS part. Upon further research (unfortunatley after the fact) I found that an after market CSPS part cost $59.99 and a "dealer" brand new CSPS part cost $110.26. I would also like to mention that my gut feeling is that Fletcher'... read full review »

Toronto Auto Station
October 16, 2008
I bought a car from Toronto Auto Station. It was a 2004 Nissan Xterra that they claimed was a lease return from Nissan Canada. After about 3 weeks with this suv I had numerous problems with the most expensive being the transmission was blown. I had tried to take the 30 day exchange guarantee but Ravi, the salesman gave me the run around and that wasn't going to take place they tell me. After more hideous problems I had it completely checked by a certified mechanic in Down Town Toronto. He told me to do a 'trace' on the suv... read full review »

Triad Dodge
October 15, 2008
I took my 2006 Ram in for an oil change and the service department, in checking the air filter, failed to secure it back in place. The air filter was sucked into the turbo and engine. Triad Dodge replaced the turbo, but refused to replace the engine. They said the engine was so strong it could digest an air filter. Excessive pressures built up in the engine to the point that the dip stick would blow out onto the motor. Triad finally agreed to put in a new short block, which stopped most of the oil leaks, but not all. I returned to Triad... read full review »

Frisco McDavid Honda Dealer said my Honda Odessay needed an alignment. I recently had it aligned so I took it back to the place where I got the alignment. They did an electronic alignment test and showed me the print out that read everything green. Basically Frisco Honda Dealer was trying to make an extra buck by telling me my alignment was off when it wasn't. I never thought a Honda dealer would pull a unethical stunt like this. I guess the tech and service guy has to make his numbers. Hard economic times but to cheat customer is pretty sad. read full review »
