Emeralds Auto Repair And Towing
Ray January 30, 2009
My car was brought in for service on the oil pan gasket, timing belt, camshaft seals and was charged $708.54, also including front brake pads and labor an additional $150.00. I brought my car home and my brake lights did not work. I brought the vehicle back to them and they fixed it. They said it was the fuse and they replaced it and of course charged me. My lights kept blowing out and I find they installed the wrong type of fuse. I let it go. A month later I brought it in cause the car would not turn over and I asked them distinctly to... read full review »

Auto Financing Network
Jordan January 30, 2009
Back in March 2008, I got a car from AFN. The payments were to be taken out automatically. I was called 4 times in less than 1 year because they lost my checking account number. Needless to say, I am now without a car because it was repo'd this evening. On Friday January 23rd, Tiffany called me informing me they have not received a payment since Nov 21. Today is now Jan 29th. I told Tiffany I could make 1 payment on the 23rd and pay the rest on Friday when I got paid, which is tomorrow. She said OK no biggie and left it at that. Direct Choice/Great Choice
Flamejob January 30, 2009
In summer of 2008 I purchased an extended warranty package from Consumer Direct through what appears to be their "front" marketing company, Vehicle Services Inc. At that time, V.S.I. Claimed I was buying a "bumper-to-bumper" warranty, simalar to a new car warranty. Later, Consumer Direct informed me that this was not the case, and that it was only an extended powertrain warranty, regardless of what V.S.I. had told me, and if I had a problem with that, then I had to address it to V.S.I. The first claim I filed, in January of... read full review »

If anyone wants to do something about this company, I just filed a complaint at the following web site: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov This company has done everything from call my friends, neighbors, family. They even called the hospital where my granddaughter was a patient, asked for her room, then told the person answering the phone it was an emergency. When I asked how they got the information to call me there, I was told that was none of my business that he was just doing his job. He then went into great details about personal... read full review »

Southside Wrecker Inc.
James New be ready January 29, 2009
I had my car towed on a Saturday night near downtown. I picked up my car the next day after paying $171.65. Drove my car home..parked in my driveway...came outside 4-5 hours later to find all of the oil in my car was leaking out and down into the street. Wanting to make sure this was just not a coincidence I took the car to my mechanic. After inspecting the damage, my mechanic confirmed the crack in my oil pan looked like damage directly caused from a bad tow. I took pictures from where my car was towed from. I took pictures from my car... read full review »

I have received an official prize winning notification and when I tried to furnish the required information there has been error messages. Its very painful that such things are being passed on to normal and average human beings who are caught in the web of making the two ends meet. For me it is a mental torture as this happens to be a very lean patch financially and I have been working to the best of the efforts to realize my contributions towards family and self. The details of the notification are attached here: BMW® HQ Germany... read full review »

Continental Warranty Lynnwood Washington
Ron Osborn January 29, 2009
I purchased this warranty in November of 2004, paying an extra fee to get the "guarantee price refund, " where you get your premium refunded if you don't use your policy in the four year period. I complied with their instructions to claim my policy amount, they confirmed my refund amount and I faxed them all the necessary paperwork in November, 2008. Now, they don't even have a working phone number. Even the phone number on the website rings "busy" when you try to call. All other numbers that have worked in the past... read full review »

I ordered a couple of sets of tires from bike bandit and found that the items that they had in stock, shipped out very quick (I got them the next day with no express shipping charges). One of the tires was advertised as “Closeout Pricing” and when I ordered the tire over the phone, they said they had it in stock. A couple of hours later I got an email saying it was discontinued and no longer available. I called them up and talked with someone that told me their computer shows the tire is in stock in their warehouse and they would... read full review »

I worked for this company for 10years. Was a very dedicated employee and did a good job for them. I was given a new boss in January and he began writing me up, harrassing me and giving me extra work. By April he made me aware that i was going to be fired. After i went to Human Resources Dept. and complained about him, i was told I had done nothing wrong. I used to be a big fan of this insurance company but in the past 2 months they have gone "downhill" I don't know who they are hiring but there has been one screw-up after another. I received a check in the mail from them last night. Granted, I could use the money but I just knew it was too good to be true. They sold me a Suv with the wrong size tires and numerous other serious problems and refused any liability. The owner of car Connection advised me that the smaller tire size had caused the previous owner no problems so they felt no obligation to assume liability for any of the problems I incurred.. Two Ford Dealerships told me they were not safe. James Hubings partner Larry told me the service plan I purchased would cover part of the damage to the Differential only if my mechanic did not mention in his report that different size tires had been used. Several months ago, I took my in my 2005 Kia Sportage for a used Kia Spectra during the gas crunch. Although I WANTED a used Spectra 5, the 2007 ones on the lot were in poor condition. The savvy salesman kept pushing me towards the new Kia Spectra sedans saying they were on sale with a $1, 500 rebate and that I'd have a $500 discount for being a 'loyal Kia customer'. And then we went for a test drive and got into negotiations. She wouldn't let me back near the used cars. The MSRP on the car was $17, 145, and there wa... read full review »

I'm used to paying up front for service, so I tried handing the employee my credit card twice, but he advised they prefer to charge after the service.
