My husband and I had our services terminated even though we were not due to top up on our accounts until 11/21/06. After calling the company's so-called "expert advisors", they can't seem to agree on our previous top up dates. One person says May 2006 and another says June 2006. (It was actually August!) We bought our stacking Frigidaire (top load) washer/dryer about seven years ago. We had an old Frigidaire pair that we gave away when we bought this troublemaker. The old washer filtered the water so the lint did not get into the pump and stop it up. This new unit has no such feature and occasionally "surprises" us with about 20 gallons of water on the floor. In any case, my wife and I purchased the referenced MP 3 player for a friend going through chemotherapy for cancer to help alleviate some of the stress during these procedures. On 9/2/06, I bought a Panasonic Lumix digital camera from Circuit City. 23 days later it was buzzing loudly and would not focus correctly. I took it to Circuit City that day, but they refused to even consider helping as it was after the 14 day cut-off. I called Panasonic, they said I would have to have it repaired under warranty. Electronics Dahisar East Mumbai has delivered us incomplete consignment of the grill type microwave oven;19 litre capacity( model 369)even after making him full payment; in the last week of Oct.2006.There was no glass plate on the turn tableafter opening the sealed package. I shipped a Pioneer Receiver in May 2006 to London by DHL, it arrived damaged, DHL report states “Due to rough handling the equipment got crushed” Because the equipment was insured for transit I submitted a claim on the 12th May 2006. Despite supplying detail information about the equipment, (out of the box failure etc), six months later DHL have not acknowledged my claim, nor have they made any indication towards a settlement. Hi, would like to point out to would be purchasers that should any thing go wrong with your SERVIS appliance you aint got a chance of any joy from them. My story after 6 weeks the fridge /freezer failed an engineer duly dispatched 2 days later. This is the second DVD/VCR of same model within 1-1/2 months. The VCR keeps eating my tapes. It will eject the cartridge, but the tape is stuck inside the unit. It does not happen every time nor does it happen on the same tape. I called Samsung Support and an 18-year old “Ben” told me it’s common sense that you are not to eject a tape if there is a preset timer for a recording, even if it’s two days from the time you want to eject the tape. My mother bought a Maytag washing machine on November 2, 2004 at Home Depot. Eight months after buying the machine she had to have a Maytag service provider come to replace the belt. I have used sony’s products all my life and I have only run into 2 that caused rather expensive issues. First was a MD walkman that after a few months stopped making disks, the support told me to reinstall the drivers and that still didn't work but they wouldn't exchange it under there warranty. I have 3 Intermatic DT121C digital timers and just after 1.5 years of use they all failed! Is there a recall on this model? They keep time butt do not regulate the lights. After a year and a half of owning my 46" Plasma TV is died and is not repairable per DecisionONe. My 3 options are to downgrade to a 42" TV, attempt another repair (which is useless) or WAIT 6 MONTHS FOR A REPLACEMENT. This is absolutely absurd! I purchased a DCS 5 burner stove top range 3 years ago. A few months after I bought it the center burner stopped functioning properly. I have tried to have it repaired for over two years but no one has been able to fix it. I bought a Maytag Neptune MAH7500AWW and matching gas dryer 4 years ago. Previous to that I owned a Maytag top loader and matching electric dryer for 25 years. The old machine was being retired for better washing technology (front loader, etc.), and it's a good thing I kept the old machine!
