In January 2010 I ordered a subscription for my mother. After about two months she had not recieved the magazine yet. I contacted birds and blooms and in early June they responded they were not able to locate any payment and requested a copy of the front and back of my canceled check or money order, or a copy of the credit card statement. I found that the software actually was slowing down my computer and caused my screen to free up. I sought a refund as per their instructions within 3-4 days of downloading their software. Received two unsolicited magazines today - Shape Magazine and Star Magazine. Called the 1 800 number found in one of the magazines. On calling it I was advised that they sent the magazine on orders of "Area Circulation" and they were unable to cancel. I was unable to find or reach a number to cancel the subscriptions. Was also told that I was on their list to receive a third different magazine. This site is horrible. Their customer service sucks because you can't get a hold of them on weekends, and when you finally do they're rude and aren't even able to help you. They also charge too much in fees, and they take money out of the wrong accounts. Byer beware, I just fell prey to this company who claimes that they are connected to microsoft and offer online virus protection which u can purchase. I did and realized, unfortunetly too late, that this is not legit. I allowed them access to my computer to clean up viruses on my comp which, according to them, was interfering with other websites.
